This kit was so fun to assemble, the instructions are easy to follow, along with the videos. There are some minute screws that you will need to be careful if you drop them, you may never find them! I think is kit was made really well, i enjoyed playing with it after the assemble. It teaches you many things, great as a gift for children and adults alike.

I purchased this for my grandson's 8th birthday. I thought that it might be overwhelming, but he really enjoyed assembling it. He had to learn how to use socket head screws and nuts and "righty tighty," so it was challenging. He was very proud of his "invention" and played with it for hours after we got it running. It came with all the parts and tools needed in neatly labeled boxes and bags. It does require adult supervision but he handled the "hands-on" part.

I brought this for my daughters birthday and she loved it. My daughter is interested in robotics she had a great time putting the kit together. The car is awesome you can drive it around easily and using the camera on it is great fun.

Fun and interesting project car to assemble, can be a little bit fiddly in places with small screws and so on, but if I can do it at nearly 70 so should most people. All the code is already installed on the micro controller, so all you need to do is assemble, charge batteries and switch it on. It is upgradable once you learn to understand the coding, I will do all my experiments using a different Uno R3 board and save the original with code safe and untampered with. Great fun project for anyone over 12, good purchase.

What a great little robot the build was straight forward everything is number and labelled. it's come with phone app/remote control / built-in rechargeable battery pack. it can be programmed via the phone app. The cats really don't know what to make of this little chap. overall great value for money.

Great project, but forward motion of the car seems to be a problem. Moves slowly forward but in reverse it goes really fast. Additional info: I thought I would email Elegoo support. I really had low expectations of getting a response, but after a day I received an email asking me for more information on the problem I was having. There started a number of emails back and forward trying to resolve the issue. In the end we tracked down where the issue was and they are sending me a replacement part. Have to say I am very impressed with both their response times to emails and also their professionalism in helping sort out the issue I had.

Leuk om te maken en zeer compleet ook. Alles netjes in zakjes en duidelijke handleiding. Na 2 uurtjes de infrarood afstandsbedieningen getest en gaat als de bliksem. Obstakel ontwijken was meer obstakels opzoeken, maar toch grappig. De camera heeft goed beeld en met je smartphone kan je de auto beter besturen, snelheid is dan instelbaar. Verbinden gaat via BT en beeld via WiFi. Accu wel eerst opladen voor langere plezier. Kortom, leuk geinig ding om te maken.

I like it a lot. Easy to assemble and clear instructions, also a couple of screws extra. Contrary to most of reviews, line following worked perfectly. Obstacle avoidance works mostly. Follow mode does not really work because it follows in a straight line but does not steer. I guess ultrasonic sensor which is used in those modes is unprecise. Other than that i recommend using the app. You can adjust the speed there which did not work with the remote. Note that the camera and control wifi is without password, but once connected with app it does not accept other connections and the range of the wifi is about 5 meters without obstacles. So no worries about security and neighbors spying your feed, but it also means it cannot be controlled from next room which kind of defeats the purpose of the video remote. Note: i removed the line follow sensor to get the full clearance of 1-1.5 cm so that it can crawl on the carpet. Otherwise it cannot do it and the sensor get bend. So if you want offroad between rooms with different flooring or carpet do not install it. As a toy - very nice. One can improve upon, program, buy other sensors etc.

Właśnie zwróciłem Tank Robot od Keyestudio bo przyszedł z uszkodzonym jednym kołem i połamanym kablem zasilającym. W tym momencie zdecydowałem z synem że wybierzemy może coś innego i to był strzał w dziesiątkę. Różnica w podejściu do klienta jest spora. Tu dostajemy wszystko bardzo dobrze opisane, dobrze popakowane. Śrubki i nakrętki są dodane z zapasem (jak w Lego). Instrukcja w j. angielskim ale jasna i zrozumiała nawet dla dzieci. Może i jest mniej czujników do wykorzystania ale tu dostajemy za to kamerkę i sterowanie przez WiFi a nie przez problematyczny Bluetooth. Wszystkie podstawowe funkcje można przełączać z aplikacji a zamiast programowania w komputerze dziecko dostaje możliwość napisania własnego kodu bezpośrednio na smartfonie / tablecie w języku przypominającym Scratch. To nastawienie na naukę przez zabawę, bez sięgania w główny program w Arduino jest moim zdaniem genialne. Mam porównanie z Tank Robot-em od Keyestudio i naprawdę cieszę się że wydałem 100 zł mniej bo dostałem zabawkę z która mój syn nie będzie miał problemów. (w Keyestudio naprawdę trzeba się było namęczyć aby wszystko złożyć, części drobnych śrób w Keyestudio ukręciłem łebki bo otwory do silnika Servo były chyba zbyt wąsko wywiercone, w ELEGOO nie było tego problemu - moduł Servo przychodzi już złożony ... i generalnie jest mniej kabelków). Naprawdę mogę polecić nie tylko ten produkt ale i chyba tego producenta. Widać że zależy mu na satysfakcji klienta (pudełko przyszło zapakowane w dodatkową grubą kopertę ochronną aby nic się w środku nie uszkodziło, co niestety miało miejsce w przypadku produktu Keyestudio).
