Fiddle Built by hand by 90 year old
Two pieces comes connected, but can be pulled apart easily. Blue one

arrived damaged
It showed up as promised but the nut was smashed and the neck was full of compression nick and dents. I am deciding weather to fix it or return it. Just frustrated.

You buy cheap. You get cheap.
As shown in the photo the black finish on the fingerboard was awlful. I will have to redo the entire fingerboard. The holes for the peg box were wrong. I measured them at 6.0 mm. They should have been 7.01mm - 7.36mm. I had to redrill with a 7.0mm bit to get my pegs to fit. The only reason I give this a rating of 3 is because this product is being used in an art display an not in a real functional violin. But like I said when you buy cheap you get cheap.

Fingerboard is useless junk
This arrived with the fingerboard already unglued from the neck, turns out they only used to very small spots of glue (is there a shortage of glue in China?). On top of that, the nut is glued to the finger board wrong so that there's a gap between the fingerboard and the neck. But that's not the worst of it, the fingerboard is warped and this is useless. The neck itself is adequate.

Poor Quality even with replacement
When my order arrived the top of the fingerboard was split in two. I ordered a replacement and it came intact but was poorly constructed versus the original order. The wood was not sanded completely and gave me splinters.

Suitable for hobby or student grade
These are made from quality maple and are of acceptable durability. They meet required measurements. But I've ordered 2 and they do arrive with some mild imperfections either from factory or as a result of shipping in padded bags.
