Worked well for first time use
I believe this pad functions just as good as a Cricut, but I do not have one to compare it to. It did not heat up significantly on the bottom as I feared it may given that it is double sided. It would be very hot on the top, which is the point and just a little warm on the bottom after multiple uses. Give it was $2 less than Cricut when I purchased it, I say it was worth the savings.

A lifesaver when you have limited workspace
This heat press mat has been a lifesaver for me. I have very limited workspace for the projects I make for friends and family, so having something that protects my surfaces without taking up a lot of room has been a game changer. The mat is firm enough to provide a good surface for projects that require some pressure, and it does a great job protecting the surface underneath from the heat of the press. I also love how easy it is to store. When I'm finished with a project, I can simply put it away in a drawer instead of having another large piece of equipment taking up valuable workspace. If you do heat-press projects and don't have a dedicated craft workspace, this little mat has been incredibly useful for me.
