Can this be used with the new Panasonic Lumix FZ70? (the one with a 60x optical zoom and 16.1 mp)

I just received this battery for my new FZ70 and it DOES NOT WORK. Does not fit into the camera and does not fit into the charger. It is close, but not right.I am returning.

Does this really work with the DMC-FZ70K? Or is it just for DMC-FZ47 and DMC-FZ150?

I have the 150. No experience with the FZ47. Sorry.

how can you tell when battery is charged -- steady green light?

The light goes off when charged. Steady green signifies charging.

Bmb9 won’t work with fz80. bmb9pp is what comes with the camera. does anyone know what the difference is?

Not sure about fit but these batteries did not hold a charge very long. I bought mine back in 2014.
