Best Pens Weve ever bought
These are smooth and thin. My husband works in the oil field and isnt very particular about anything but these pens. They last a long time and dont dry out in the cold weather of North Dakota. Highly Recommend

So glad that the original configuration is available, but at double the price.
This review is being written some years after my original review was written. The same issues still exist. The refill is still not full of ink and the pen is not offered with a variety of ink colors (such as red, blue, or green).

My favorite pens
I like these a lot. They're smooth writers and, crucially for my work, they don't dissolve in ethanol or water. On some papers they smear a little bit, I wouldn't necessarily recommend using them on receipt paper if you absolutely need the ink to stay put immediately, but most of the time they're very good.
