does the bed make noise when you move around at night?

It’s my 13yo daughter’s bed and she is above average size and height. I have never noticed the noise but I don’t sleep on it. I just went in daughter’s room and moved it with my hand and no noise. But my daughter moved for me while lying in it and yes it did but not a squeaky sound. She moved roughly though as a test and I could hear it. She has never complained though in the 1 1/2 years she has had it.

Will it work with a Sleep Number bed?

I don't see why it wouldn't. Mine is a twin, but it supports a ExL Twin mattress just fine. I love the slats under it. I can fold my mattress back & reach into storage containers without having to pull everything out. The round slats fit perfectly in their metal reinforced holders.

What size depth mattress would be best for a twin? 6, 8 or 10 inch

I have an 8" with a mattress topper & it's good.
