NEEWER Gimbal Tripod Head Professional Heavy Duty Aluminum Alloy, GM101

Great value for money, appears strong and well made, very impressive. Have found only a very slight balancing issue, and after getting a longer Arcaswiss mounting plate it is very slightly not returning to perfect level. But this tiny fault doesn’t detract from the massive benefits I’m getting from it. Can be used in portrait mode on my D500- 200/500 by turning the camera with in its tripod collar as normal. Have recommended many times to friends and fellow photographers.

Have been considering one of these for a while, to match with new Canon zoom lens on my DSLR. this is absolute perfect... Using it on a Manfrotto 190XPPROB tripod and it's perfect. Nicely weighted, well made. Recommended

It is very solid, well constructed and does what a gimbal is supposed to do. It does not come with an Alan key which you will need for the cradle stopper. Maybe Neewer should supply this, not everyone will own an Alan key.

I have quite a few Neewer photo items and the gimbal as with most of their products is well made and has that feel of quality. It’s not the lightest thing in the world but gives confidence when attaching large lenses to it. It’s easy to fit and set up and works perfectly. It’s a very well engineered product, it will handle almost anything lens and DSLR camera. It’s also a very good price. It’s equally as good as similar items three times the price.

Gimbal is strong and heavy, capable of holding a large zoom lens like Sony 200-600 but no smoothness, baseplate knob is plastic, not happy, it just flies from right to left and up to down. If you need to hold holding steady than need to lock the knobs. Little dampening by adjusting the knobs would have been helpful. Not expecting fluid like movement but for the price it can do better.

A very well made and sturdy gimble head , There were reports that the grease in this head needed replacing however I have not experienced any stiffness or other issues with this head. Screws onto my K&H tripod with no stability issues whatsoever . Not recommended for travel as is fairly heavy and is quite a footprint but for days in the park and general landscape use cant fault it

Erg fijne schommelkop voor mijn telelens. Degelijk, soepel draaiend precies wat ik zocht. Mijn vorige bestelling van ander merk was een teleurstelling. Die kop wiebelde en was niet fijn in gebruik. Ik raad deze Neewer ten zeerste aan.
