Taste like the old days, you know, real

I guess we are so used to the maple flavor from our stores, that the flavor from real maple does not taste anything like that. Even the consistency is different than those we have at the stores. The old-fashioned maple syrup that comes in a shape of an old-fashioned lady with an apron is thick. One would expect that all maple syrups to have that type of consistency. I've tasted a couple of real maple syrups and they are really delicious, but the syrup is thinner (a bit on the runny side). I purchased this maple syrup and another that is aged in a bourbon barrel, and I must say, I prefer this one best. It's darker in color and bolder in taste. Although I do prefer the thicker consistency, but this syrup is really good. I will continue to purchase this brand.

I love Anderson's maple syrup, however, my last order has a bitter taste. I ordered the cooking syrup by mistake! So double check-the regular syrup is delicious.

If you eat Maple Syrup a lot you’ll notice the difference in taste between this and Canada. I literally bought this for convenience wish I hadn’t. It’s not bad and still taste good but if you like for lack of better words richness of the maple I would look for something else maybe from trees from Canada.

I’ve had a lot of maple syrup in my time and while I thought this would be a strong maple flavor, I found it somewhat lacking. I prefer a dark heavy maple, this seemed a bit bland to me.
