I will try to be as honest as possible because I depend on other people's reviews and feel I want to help the best I can: Bought this to replace my heavy wood ladders. I am now 65 years old, and carrying a heavy ladder is harder than it used to be. BUT I still need a heavy duty ladder to hold me and keep me feeling safe and secure due to my fear of heights. These heavy duty fiberglass ladders with aluminum are so easy to move around, and yet feel so safe and heavy duty that it's amazing the difference. There is no give or nudging when using them like what I felt on my wooden ladders. The rating is perfect for the average person. I keep a few different sizes in my barn for household outside projects. I expect this ladder to outlive me by many years. Very strong. It appears to be a high quality product. I have only used it a few months, so I cannot tell how many years it will last, but it is doing exactly what they claim it should do. No problems or complaints. It arrived to me from Amazon safely inside a large HD cardboard box without any damage. Good Luck.

I bought this Ladder to keep indoors (not in the garage with my husbands "stuff" that just gets dirty!! I needed a very sturdy ladder to reach higher places to clean in our home in rooms with higher ceilings. This ladder fit the bill perfectly. It is quite sturdy, and very well built. I used it the next day and it made my cleaning job so much easier than my 2-step Step Stool type ladder I had been using prior. It is sturdy, yet light enough to carry easily even at my age! I like how wide and deep the steps are. I like that it does not have a tray on it, as the areas I need to get the ladder set up in would be a problem doing so, with a tray. Though the top of the ladder has a nice area to place cleaning supplies, rags...etc... Bravo! Love it!!

Very good ladder for the price.

Ladder is awesome great quality and built very sturdy. My main gripe is it came without a box, just a shipping label on the side of the unit delivered by F***x. I had previously bought another ladder that I didn't like and returned it, that unit did come in a box all nice, new, and pretty. But this one.. It came all scratched up, super dirty and with sharpie marks on it, and some nasty deep cuts in the plastic at the very top of the ladder. Was 1000% going to return but Amazon provided a partial refund and I kept it. But honestly it looks like it had been used. I let it slide this time just because I hate returning things, but I won't be so forgetful next time.

Good quality ladder.It has good stability on multiple surfaces, I live in an apartment with laminate & carpet, this ladder us a great height lifter when decorating my 7' tree and hanging lights, garland etc. Its design is demonstrated thru lifting & transporting, it is comfortable when carried right,ladder weight is balanced evenly to me.i use throughiut my whoke apartment.

I bought this ladder to replace the one in the house. It was made of wood and was falling apart. Finally, after a screw came out, I decided to get a new one. What I like about this ladder is that it's the same height as the previous one. It's eight feet tall, but it's so much easier to carry. It's not as light as feather, but, it way lighter than any ladder I've previously purchased from Amazon. It's strong and it's quite stable. When you set it up, it'll stay there; no slipping and sliding. This is a very well made product. If you're looking for an eight-foot ladder, you might want to consider buying this one! No need to include a photo. What see you in the photo on this page, is what you'll get!

Arrived in the biggest Amazon box ever! - actually three boxes well taped together - no issue with damage as mentioned by other reviewer. I needed a ladder for camping - to check slides for debris before retracting. It had to fit in a Chevy truck 5’8” box, with the tail gate closed - this will fit perfect. I’m nearly 250lbs, and it’s solid - no worries. It’s light, well built, and will be perfect for my needs. I have three other ladders (aluminum) but longer lengths. I searched for a five footer, and finally found this one - will be great for my application. For regular home outside work, I would suggest at least a six or eight, or even a twelve - depending on specific need.
