Palisade 25.6 in. x 14.8 in. Vinyl Tile Surround Kit in Carrara Marble

I was looking for a shower surround during a bathroom remodel. Being an old house, nothing is standard. Decided to try to find tile and came across Palisade Vinyl Tile Shower Kit. Install was relatively quick and it was easy to cut. It looks nice and is easy to clean. I would like to be able to use 3M strips (or similar) to hold hooks. I've tried several brands, they just don't stay.

Great investment, beauty look, and easy to cut and use. I would use this product 10X over. It’s in my shoe and around my tub. It’s expressive for only 8 tiles per box but has turned out to be worth it.

We used Louvre Granite. Previous owner put up hideous cultured marble shower walls in 2 bathrooms. Imagine pale yellow backgrounds with either baby blue or green "veins". We had to update. We did order from a different retailer because of a discount, but wanted to leave a review on Amazon. I really don't like adding more plastic, PVC, and other unnatural materials in our home, but the many positives of this product and the good reviews made us cave. Installation is technically straight forward. The tiles are easy to cut, silicone, and glue up. We are very experienced "handy people", however, our projects never seem to be on the easy side or take the estimated time (out of plumb and level, 4 glass block inserts, OCD personalities, etc.). We did not order a kit, as we have an oversized walk-in shower plus a tub/shower. We got the required number of boxes and J and L trims to split between the 2 baths. We did not purchase the inside corner trims as we thought they would make the project look less professional. So we very carefully measured, cut, and sanded each corner tile to make snug 90 degree joints. J-trims were used at the ceiling (Ls would have been easier) and Ls at the outside edges. We did a 1/3 offset and wrapped the corners for minimal waste and cutting. This pattern also allowed us to fudge a bit. The thickness of the previous cultured marble and its uneven installation plus the thickness of the Palisade tile on top was thicker than the long leg of the L-trim, so we had to get a little creative with filling that gap to the wall. In one bath we cut thin slivers of tile to add at right angles behind the trim so it just makes it look like the installed tile is thicker. For the other bath we filled the slight gap to the wall with grey silicone. We did have some oopsies that left us short of J-trim. We wish you could easily order only one piece of trim instead of a 5-pack. We had to go to yet another retailer to obtain a single strip for about $45 then add a tube of adhesive just to get the free shipping, otherwise additional $45 to ship. Overall we are very happy with the product. We also added a nice frameless sliding glass door. We have very hard water and always squeegee to reduce water deposits. I really hope the tiles hold up for a very long time. The sample piece we were sent was a really light colored portion and with more brown. The actual tiles tend a bit more gray but still work well with brown and warm tones.

Tile looks nice and is easy to install. My only issue is the trim. The color doesn’t match the tiles and it cheapens the look. Would be nice if they made it look more like real tile.

Quick and easy to install. Looks awesome when it’s done. The price was very reasonable considering it looks as good if not better than actual ceramic tile at a fraction of the cost.

I had a very good handyman that used this product for me in a bath surround at my rental property. We were a few tiles short on the job, but when we tried to order a trim amount in the same color they were out of stock. We had to order a contrasting tile. It looked nice, but beware of this. Also, you will need a moisture barrier layer product between the tiles and the wall in a shower. Easy to cut and fit.

Great alternative to real tiles but install isn’t as easy as they make it seem. The end corner pieces are especially hard to fit and move you really have to push hard to get them to move. Cutting to size was really easy with just a utility knife and snap. Texture is nice and they are really easy to clean. Hopefully they hold up and stay waterproof.

Easy to install and looks great

Shipping was quick. This is a great replacement for ceramic tile, acrylic, or fibreglass tub or shower surround. It’s easy to install hundred percent waterproof and looks great. Follow instructions and don’t try to cut corners and yours results will be worth it.

Tuiles de qualité et Installation facile 5/5. Très beau résultat. Cependant problème aves les tubes Manus-Bond. Les tubes étaient périmés "meilleur avant novembre 2022". Donc très difficile pour faire sortir le produit du tube.

this can be done by a lay person, cuts are done with an exacto knife, zero grouting, everything you require for the project comes in this kit, making it's cost significantly less than buying the tile, glue, silicone, and edging all separately. I've used the product for 3 showers, right over top of my tile (which was in good shape). All done within 6 hours. The best product ever!
