The my heating system I have been using for the past three years. To buy this holder on bulks because I used them all the time on multiple hookahs. It doesn’t hold the smoke and it heats up very fast. Recommended

OK I have to admit I bought it because of all the 5 star reviews it was getting but I had no idea how to use it, but I eventually figured it out and I'll explain in case anyone else needs an explanation. You pack your bowl with the tobacco and put your coal on this device, then you put it on top of your packed bowl and voila, you're set. No need for foil or balancing your charcoal. It's really practical and I'm gld I bought it!

This is a great heat system but the metal is very thick. I used to need 2 coals but now I need 4 coals to get the same effect. However, the hookah never burns even with 4 coals so I’m divided because the hit doesn’t feel the same because the heat is so low yet I don’t have to worry about the hookah burning. I’ll probably use this as a back up anytime I don’t have tinfoil. I’m not substituting the tin foil with this.

Durable and lightweight

I normally don't like leaving my coals so exposed but as long as the wind isn't blowing too crazy or the ceiling fan isn't on, this is my go to! Sometimes if it is a bit windy, I'll put some foil over the too to help so problem solved!

Takes too long to heat up, leading to use a lot more charcoal.

I’ve been smoking hookah for well over a decade, and this is one of the worst accessories I’ve ever tried. I used this coal topper once and immediately noticed a harsh, chemical taste that overpowered everything—none of the shisha flavor came through. It was absolutely not the coals; the issue was with the product itself. It made me question whether it was even safe to use. I returned it right away and will be sticking to foil from now on. Save your money and avoid this one.
