A well-engineered, well-built fan/light combo
I've been very impressed with this bath exhaust fan/light, particularly in comparison with the similar Broan 744. Having installed both in my home I can attest that the Aero Pure is more solidly made, easier to install, and arguably quieter given that what sound it makes is lower in frequency. Yes, it is more expensive than the Broan, which uses a flimsy plastic snap-on vent connection as opposed to the AP's solid one-piece body-and-vent design, but by all appearances the AP will give me many more years of reliable service. The reverse-flow vane (which prevents air/dirt/bugs from entering the unit from the vent when the fan is "off") is particularly well-made and effective. All products should be made this way.

Fan is not moving much air
Good design but fan is undersized for anything

Questionable CFM
Pros: Very quiet.Cons: Doesn’t move as much air as my previous unit which was actually rated for less CFM.Anti-backflow damper design unfortunately allows damper to come in contact with whatever flex duct you install, so make sure to stetch your duct as much as possible at the unit to avoid damper getting stuck. My old unit was designed to prevent this.
