I recently purchased these to clean my home before selling it. I had light scuffs on walls and doors, and these little guys really do magically erase things. I’ve been using them to clean my new place, which has more set-in stains on doors and such, and they are still magical. I love these erasers and highly recommend purchasing. They are affordable and very effective. They do start to pill and break apart when used roughly, so please be aware. That is why I would recommend buying at least four or so at a time.

Usage context: I bought these specifically to clean the rubber soles of white leather sneakers. Expectations vs. reality: They work better than anything else I’ve tried for removing dirt and scuffs from rubber soles — the difference is immediate and noticeable. The trade-off is that the sponge material breaks apart while scrubbing, leaving little pieces behind that you have to wipe up afterward. Details: Effectiveness: outstanding for sneaker soles; cleans deep scuffs quickly. Durability: sponge breaks down fast, especially on rubber or textured surfaces. Ease of use: simple to wet and start scrubbing, no chemicals needed. Bottom line: Excellent cleaning results, especially for sneaker soles, but be prepared for the sponge to wear out and leave debris behind. Even with that drawback, it’s worth it for how well it works.

Speechless, where has this been all my life? Fascinating how effectively and quickly this works. Only had one permanent stain that it would not erase, likely because the stain absorbed deeply into the paint all the way through and onto the base metal. All surface stains which are very difficult to remove by any other means come off almost instantly with this water wetted Magic Eraser sponge. These sponges are 'supposed to' fall-apart when used, so don't stress about that because they are inexpensive to replace. I wish more of the hundreds of Amazon products I have purchased could perform like this tiny Magic Eraser. These are like the iPhone of the home cleaning products. Serious game changer technology!

When I tried cleaning my light colored car seats with just the interior car cleaner, it hardly made a difference. Once I used the Magic Eraser with interior cleaner it worked great! I got the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Durable variety, but they still fell apart a bit. I didn't mind too much since magic eraser did such a good job of cleaning the seats.

Did you accidentally rub/scrape on of those yellow poles in the parking lot?! Then you need this magic eraser! Save yourself hundreds of dollars. I used those to remove yellow paint from my Mercedes. I was so upset that I rubbed against a pole leaving class one night. I didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a buff job or thousands on a paint job. One magic eraser, a little water, and 15 minutes saved me so much money. Trust me on this!! Please come back and like this review when it works for you!!
