This item is light weight and easy to use, allowing me to skip adding charcoal because the product already has a lot of benefiting nutrients inside for the plants. Perfect for bioactive setups and worth the money, a little goes a long way.

When dealing micro fauna and small rare plants. This is a must! My isopods and small plants love this stuff. I use it whenever adding rich nutrients to my setups.

Good product works perfect for enclosures with live plants and would defenitely recommend getting more than one bag for bigger enclosures!

My plants are so happy in this and it keeps my springtails hopping! Keep a bag of it on hand at all times now. Very clean as well. I am confident when using this product that I won’t contaminate with other biomaterials or some kind of harsh chemicals.

This stuff has been great for rooting some of my more resistant cuttings. I have a woody umbrella plant that is always giving me trouble but this media has worked well so far to root cuttings. Everything else I drop in her roots perfectly, every time so far

What I like about this product, stratum is a volcanic rock that is an excellent product when growing rare plant stems that is much better than placing rare plant stem in just soil or water reducing rot. I highly recommend this product to increase new plants from mother plant.
