I love the bamboo cutting boards, I have 3 sizes. The smallest,8x13, is my go to for breakfast and salads for 2 people. The only down side is that if you cut onions or garlic, and I use LOTS of them , the flavor remains on the cutting board. I usually just rinse with warm water and a small amount of dish soap.The onion flavor can be transferred to the next fruit or vegetable that is cut on that board. This doesn’t happen with plastic boards. I love that the bamboo is sustainable. I will try washing the board with baking soda. I still recommend the bamboo cutting boards.

the cutting board size as other reviewers said is a perfect size for light and medium chopping. i bought a glass one for meat cutting from another seller. but i like to cut my vegetables and bread on a bamboo board. just a feeling. no science behind it for me. i have a large boss bamboo cutting board on my counter that is 20"x18" for five years. it's just too big for the small and medium things like salads and sandwiches that i prepare for me and my husband. and this one definitely fits in the sink much better. can't wait to use it. good thickness. not flimsy, beautiful color. hope to keep this one a long time too. very happy with this purchase!

I use a lot of items “off label” — that is, other than their primary function. I have a metal mesh wire basket rolling utility cart that I use in the guest room to store extra guest towels and other hosting niceties. I placed the cutting board in the top basket as a stable base for cups, bottles, etc when cart is used as a convenient bedside table. This cutting board was the perfect size to fit top basket and lends a more polished look to the cart. Ratings are based on my particular use.

Just the right size to pick up and scrape the chopped onions, etc. into the skillet yet big enough to easily chop the onions. The "juice groove" is particularly helpful when slicing tomatoes. Board is small enough to fit into sink to wash. I love this cutting board.

Nice cutting board. Perfect for my need of an additional shelf in my RV. Most small boards were too thin but this board is 3/4 inch thick and handled the screws for the bracket. Nice weight, hefty. The finish is smooth, color great. I love this board and will look for this vendor again for any more needs.

Smooth surface. Easy to wipe or clean in sink. I bought this item because of the trough. Catches liquids while slicing: watermelon, tomatoes, etc.

I LOVE my new Indigo True Bamboo cutting board. I'd been looking for a smaller one (8x13) with a juice catch for resting and cutting meats so I didn't need drag out my large Pampered chef one all the time. THIS BOARD IS A DREAM! It is also the perfect size for small roasts and cuts of meat.

I got this for slicing up one strip steak to share for two. It’s perfect for that and catches the juices. No more getting out a giant board for one steak.
