Don’t waste your money on cheaper alternatives; these are absolutely worth the investment. My only recommendation is to double-check your pillow cover measurements before ordering to ensure you select the right size. I’m very happy with the Pillowflex Synthetic Down Pillow Insert (22x22). The fill is soft, fluffy, and provides a nice balance of comfort and structure. It has that “down-like” feel without being too flat or overly stiff, which is exactly what I was looking for in a decorative throw pillow. One of the biggest positives is how well this 22x22 insert fits into a 20x20 pillow cover. It gives the pillow a very full, high-end look—no sagging corners or underfilled appearance. The result is nicely plump and polished on the couch. The quality feels solid, and it holds its shape well after fluffing. My only small reason for four stars instead of five is that it does compress a bit over time and needs occasional fluffing to keep that full look. Overall, this is a great value pillow insert—comfortable, soft, and perfect if you want a fuller look when sizing up inside a 20x20 cover. I would definitely buy these again.

I have bought this pillow form twice! It is my grandchildren’s favorite pillows to snuggle with on my couches. This synthetic pillow form fills up my pillow-covers perfectly and makes them the perfect support when sitting in the couch. The filling is like a cloud to lean pack on. It gives the right support behind your back too. My picture is the pillow cover that has this synthetic down pillow insert in it. It’s just huge and perfect!

Excellent pillows, soft and comfortable

I've been cycling through throw insert vendors on here and Pillowflex was one of the last I hadn't tried due to the reviews being all over the place. Then I got a single cover with an odd sized insert and figured, "well..." Pillow arrived in a plastic bag marked with a notice "Vacuum sealed! Do not open! Will expand on opening!" I opened the end flap and the pillow asserted itself by expanding slightly. I pulled it out of the bag, gave it a shake or two, and it expanded another 10-15%. It resisted being stuffed (and not in a good way, think liquid-filled stress ball) into a pillowcase 2x2 smaller, and afterwards was put into the dryer on low for 30 minutes. Upon removal from the dryer it hadn't inflated much more and now fills the case very nicely, picture-perfect almost. The heft is substantial without being overbearing. The pillow gives under pressure but eventually provides support. It rebounds quite nicely, lands with a gentle thud when tossed, and is somewhat reminiscent of actual down. Objectively, by the metrics, and all around - this pillow is about perfect. I can't really find a flaw or fault with it. Good engineering and a good value for the price. It's likely to perform for you unless you need something really flat. Subjectively, the best way I can describe it is that this pillow tries to do everything well and falls into some sort of weird pillow uncanny valley. Like that liquid-filled stress ball I mentioned earlier. It's cool and it works, but it just doesn't feel... natural...

These are the best pillow inserts I have ever purchased. I love home decor and I especially love high quality Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Crate & Barrel, etc. bedroom looks. I try to mix high and low since you don’t need to spend top dollar on everything. I always felt like my bed was lacking even though I had Pottery Barn & West Elm bedding and even though I had good quality Euro pillows it didn’t look as nice as photos I’d see online of other interior designed bedrooms. THESE inserts make your bed look amazing & more designer. These inserts really made a difference in the look of our bed. They are very heavy, they hold the “karate chop” well, and you won’t have to worry about them going flat because of the down alternative filling. I had originally purchased a set of 2 and thought maybe I’d use my old 3rd Euro pillow insert but the difference was so big, I had to buy the 3rd insert. The Pillowflex inserts look that much better. Just full and designer. I can’t wait to buy a few more for my couch now. I purchased the 26” Euro pillows and used 24” pillow covers to make sure they would look full. Shipping took longer than normal but it was worth it. Highly recommend and I will continue to purchase this brand for all pillow inserts.

AMAZING! Soft, full... great size i got the 22" and stuffed into a 20 inch cover which is perfect!

Though delivery took a while but the wait is worthwhile. Had been searching for quite some time & finally found these soft, plushy, yet do not 'deflate' cushions for my sofa & armchair. Bought 6 pcs in 3 different shipments. Recommended.

Delivery took 3 weeks for first cushion to arrive. Still waiting for the remaining piece though order was placed together. Glad to have found the "karate chop" cushion. Soft & fluffy, yet not "deflating" like most synthetic fill fiber. Plan to buy again if it is lower price.

Big but plush - lots of give so you sink into it. Great if you want to have the head cradled to prevent bad neck movements at night.
