I really like this protein powder. My primary concern is the clean ingredients and amino acid profile but honestly the taste isn’t bad. I’ve had the chocolate, which is my favorite, I use the vanilla for my overnight oats, and the unflavored for smoothies. It’s pea protein, so it can be a bit gritty so I find using a ninja blender and some ice and water the best way to go with this. Post workout, I use two scoops of chocolate, 1/2 frozen banana, 2 TBS of PB powder, 1 TBS chia seeds, ice and water and it’s really good! I do find the vanilla flavor a little overpowering in general, so if you’re going to have vanilla, expect to taste only that even when mixed with other things like yogurt or berries in smoothies. If you are transitioning off of pre made shakes like “Atkins” or whatever, give yourself some time to adjust. These will be watery compared to those because you don’t have all the artificial junk making it “creamy” and it may not be as smooth textured as you’re used to but eventually you won’t even notice anymore.

I have a young adult daughter with ARFID. She doesn’t typically have a problem with calorie intake but she does struggle with getting enough protein, so Naked Shake is great for that. The taste is chocolatey but not too sweet and not fake tasting. The powder blends very smooth, especially if she makes her shake in the blender. Naked Shake is soooo much healthier than purchasing pre-made nutritional shakes - most of them have harmful garbage ingredients. On the days where she isn’t eating much and needs a calorie bump, she just adds in a scoop of Naked Mass to her Naked Shake.

It is good, it tastes fine and it fits the purpose but is a bit expensive if you are thinking on just getting to your daily protein.

SO SO GOOD!! Other reviews said "after taste" but it literally tastes like banana. I recently tried a bunch of vegan protein powders and they did not mix or blend well. This protein powder has really simple ingredients and tastes amazing! O can't wait to try more. I also drank it with just almond milk and water and it was still pretty good, I prefer it blended,but it's good either way compared to other protein powder's.

Recently I started looking for a shake mix to use while traveling. To my delight Naked shake exists! I already loved their unflavored protein for daily smoothies, so it was the logical next step in our relationship. I read some reviews and it was obvious, get some.But shoot, what flavor? And there is no smaller sampler size? I don't know which one I want. $40 just to try one is a little steep. Happy to pay for samples I emailed them. Got the response: no samples for shake flavors. That's it. Nothing else. No, nice ot meet you thanks for asking. No, thats a good idea, I'll send you some. Or heres a link. Or coming soon. Nothing else, just no.So I read more reviews and picked a flavor that lots of folks seemed to like.The day came. My shake mix arrived at my door and I excited mixed up a scoop for a sample! Finally.UGH! Disgusting. I couldn't even finish one small shake. When it hit my taste buds I wanted to puke it up. It was nightmare inducing. I'm still recovering. It was one of those lifelong food events that you will never forget. Anytime I smell something like it now I have vivid memories and my stomach turns.So I guess now what? Can I just request a refund - nope. Can I get other samples - nope. Can I use this for something - nope, well maybe the container will make a good cat toy.I'm sad honestly. A little mad, but mostly sad. I want a Naked shake flavor. I want to progress our relationship, but I'm a little miffed now. Since I'm finishing my last 5lb of unflavored naked pea I'll look for some alternatives.I want to love it, but it doesn't love me back. Is this the end?

I mean, it’s protein powder and there’s no “hiding” that fact. If you like when you go to the beach and you get sand in your mouth, this is for you! It’s not TERRIBLE but compared to brands like Bum, it’s bottom tier.

Love this protein powder! I’m allergic to artificial sweeteners and unfortunately most companies use them in their protein products so I was pretty happy to find something made with ingredients safe for my dietary restrictions. The flavor is delicious and reminds me of a peanut butter chocolate milkshake. It feels more like a treat for me than a protein product. I work a very busy job and often don’t have time to sit down for lunch, this is super convenient for me. I’ve only mixed the powder with water but I’m sure this product is more delicious creamy and potentially not as grainy with milk. I love that it’s only 150 calories and it satisfies my sweet cravings and helps fuel me during a busy day

While this protein is a little carby for doing low-carb it is the best tasting protein powder I had ever had. It can turn normal water into something tasty, and I personally add 1 scoop of chocolate with 2 scoops of this strawberry banana to even just water and it's good enough to be a drink you pay for.If you splurge and go with something like milk, almond milk, ice cream, etc... it gets even more into the shake-quality realm.Tastes great.
