Stormlight Archives HC Box Set 1-4: The Way of Kings, Words of Radiance, Oathbringer, Rhythm of War

I absolutely adore this series. I started the Cosmere with Mistborn, but this is entree. Well written characters feel so real and relatable. Can sometimes be a touch slow but the last quarter of every Sanderson book is just absolute gold. Mental illnesses are protrayed and feel respectfully handled. Just peak fiction

Great set, super good packaging so the book set as well as the box was well protected. The hardcovers are huge but I kinda like that, it’s that or tiny print or super wide, so I’ll take it how it is over anything else. The dust covers are well designed and the actual hardcovers are nice too. The underlying hardcovers are all different distinct colors, so a little abnormal compared to sets I’ve got in the past in a series where they’re all similar colors, but I gotta say it’s growing on me. Inside of dust cover for Rhythm of War has a big map which is dope. Was also very worth the money to buy the set as a whole compared to individually.

Well I read Way of Kings and then saw this. Suffice to say the other 3 books are amazing as well.

Such a great series! You love the characters and character growth. You go through so much emotion throughout the whole series. The world creation has so much depth to it. It is a big series and you’re not quite sure yet. Start the cosmere with Mistborn series before the Stormlight series.

I love these books and am currently going back through and rereading the series. Decided to get hardcover to read physically instead of digitally. Unfortunately one corner of the set was smashed, smashing The Way of Kings, bummer.

I love the extent to which Brandon has created characters I love dearly whose characterization drives the story, but he cooks up plots that are equally compelling. As a nonbinary reader, “hearing” Kaladin and other heroes using neutral pronouns for the Sibling without making it a big deal actually made me tear up a bit. I love these stories so much, and I cannot wait to crack open the fifth installment. This package is awesome in that it allows you to search a name or term and go back as far as the initial exposition to refresh your memory if you’re a slow reader with little free time like me, though Sanderson also does a great job of re-introducing concepts as they become relevant without redundancy. I had such fun following Shallan, Kaladin, Dalinar, Szeth, Adolin, Lift, and several more through their struggle to determine what is worth fighting for and to seek it while balancing very realistic mental and physical health struggles along the way. Tears were shed many times. This is my first series by Brandon Sanderson but with all the hints that Hoid and Sigzil are connected to other series in the Cosmere, I would be a fool to let it be my last.

A superb collection of hardbacks. It's a shame that Wind and Truth seems not to have been produced to such a standard. Shipped to the UK, very easy process.

Arrived on time. Outside box slightly damaged but books were all okay.

Viy por la mitad de estos 4 libros y me han atrapado por completo. Si conoces a Brandon Sanderson no puedes perdértelo y si no le conoces y te gusta la literatura fantástica aquí tienes una de sus mejores obras, aunque mi recimendacion seria iniciarse con la trilogía "nacidos de la bruma" ( Mistborn) que es una obra independiente pero algo más rápida de leer
