10/10, worth every penny
I use my ninja creami every. single. day. I love it. It makes such good protein ice cream and regular ice cream too! I’ve had it for over a year now. A few tips: after blending the first time, add a little bit of milk if it’s “crumbly” or not an ice cream texture. Sometimes I do this two to three times before I get the perfect texture. Also, make sure the blade is on all the way and not at any angle! One time I didn’t have the blade clipped in all the way and it shaved the plastic off of my one container the whole way down! I had to throw my one container. That was on me though because I had the blade at an angle….oooops! And, i personally have had the best luck so far with simple clean protein powder and fairlife milk. Superior combo, thank me later!

Love this thing!
I bought this over a year ago and I'm sure the prices have come down. Was it a little expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. I love making keto ice cream. I like being able to control EVERY ingredient that goes into what I make. It takes a little planning (24 hours) so the mix is frozen, but once they are, the machine does all the heavy lifting. It's loud and somewhat annoying to clean, but I absolutely love it. If you like ice cream or gelato or sorbet and have ANY food restrictions (non dairy, reduced sugar, vegan, etc), having a tool like this allows you to create frozen treats that meet YOUR needs.

Great for mix-ins
Mom could not find her Christmas Peppermint ice cream this year so we broke out the Creami, some candy canes and made our own. Easy peasy.

LOUD
I wish that I could give this 5 starts, but it's so incredibly loud when operating that it scares my dog even! It is a fun way to make different frozen sweet treats like ice cream, gelato, and sorbets, but you have to plan your snacks at least 24 hours in advance as you have to freeze the containers for 24 hours before mixing them with the blender. I will say that the blender takes up a large amount of space as well. It's relatively easy to clean and use overall, but I feel that the noise and size are a little bit much for me.

Worth the hype: long term review
I bought my Creami in 2022 and bought another one - this one specifically - this past June as a wedding present for family. It is amazing that you can make such great tasting and low calorie ice cream (if that's what your goal is) with this machine. My favorite flavor that I've made is matcha, but I also love to use strawberry cheesecake casein protein and then mix-in a graham cracker for strawberry cheesecake variations. It's great for protein ice cream and can even give non-dairy bases a true ice cream texture. The trick is to use a bit of sugar free fat free pudding mix and a small amount of xanthan gum in the base. I don't recommend running a knife along the inside, which I often see listed for non-dairy bases, because you end up scraping off the plastic inside the containers. I recommend instead running hot water around the base before you spin it and again after the first spin. That actually does the trick and you're not ingesting plastic.

If your'e thinking of buying this ... DON'T
We have had 2 of these now. We primarily used it for shakes using softened ice cream. Both of them broke after just 2 weeks. We thought that maybe we had gotten a bad unit the first time, but after the second one broke, we won't be buying a Ninja Creami again. Don't get me wrong, when it works, it works well. The product looks nice and is study and we enjoyed having delicious shakes with less effort. But that only lasted 2 weeks (both times) and the product has serious issues. First it is extremely noisy - even when it isn't broken. Second you have to be very careful to get everything lined up - the cup in the holder, the lid on the holder, the blade in the lid, the holder in the machine. Even though we took great care to make sure everything was lined up perfectly per the instructions, it still broke. The paddle blade falls off. It makes a horrible noise with no way to turn the machine off. I kept expecting the paddle blade to fly out the side of the machine. And when the noise stops, the paddle blade is stuck at the bottom of the cup under your ice cream. And best of all metal shavings get sprinkled in your desert. I really hope Ninja gets their product issues ironed out - I would imagine all the returns have got to be costing them. We really expected this to be good having bought other Ninja stuff before and really liking the brand, but this is a badly flawed product. I wanted to give it zero stars, but had to give it one to submit the review.
