Dermalogica Clear Start Post-Breakout Fix, Dark Spot Treatment, 0.5 fl oz

I've struggled with hormonal acne for years, and just as my marks would start disappearing, new acne and marks would show up. I've used tons of products (I love Youth to the People and use their cleanser/exfoliants, but still felt like my marks weren't removing quickly enough. Also use Retinol from SkinMedica but it can be pretty drying from time to time), my esthetician was recommending something with higher percentage AHA/BHA's and so I started looking into Dermalogica. I used their Dark Spot Peel first and saw significant change in a week, but my older marks were taking longer to go away. I started seeing ads on Instagram with Breakout Peel products and decided to give it a try. I knew I might see some purging so I didnt get scared of the product when that started happening, but kept it in rotation with my routine. I used the Clear Start (purple lid) 3x a day on active breakouts and the post breakout fix (blue lid) after my pimples started getting smaller. Every other night I'd use their other Breakout peels (didnt like the smell of the pink liquid one, but I still use it) Anyway, I saw improvements in the 1st week of using but then had some purging in week 2 that left new scars in week 3 (attached photos). By week 5, I could already see marks fading and even some of my texture coming back/looking normal. Week 7 photo is attached as well, which when comparing to my "Before/Day 1" photo looks great, so I will continue using in hopes that I can get my dark spots to fade once and for all. I still have product left in the bottle 7 weeks later, although I'll probably need to refill within the next 1-2 weeks.

I LOVE this stuff. It causes a little peeling but the outcome is AMAZING. It's not greasy, I wouldn't call it hydrating, but MAN DOES IT WORK ON FACIAL SCARS (from acne or if you're a nervous picker like me). In my opinion, it needs to be a little cheaper for people who would use this more than I do for acne breakouts. It's such a small bottle and it is very hard to get all of the product out. But my skin feels and looks better after a week of using this once a day or twice a day.

Obsessed with this. Feel like it really works. Kinda burns and itches a little bit if you use it for more than one day in a row. Also melts into your skin for a bit, so I can go in public with a dabble of it on.

I have noticed a significant reduction is color fading on my cheek sideburn area. I haven’t seen a lot of fading of the small marks yet and that’s what I am looking for specifically. I am going to keep using the rest to see if it will once I hyper focus on those areas instead of broader placement.

I started using Dermalogica Clear Start Post-Breakout Fix in July, and it’s been great for lightening post-breakout marks and helping clear spots faster. It’s gentle, effective, and doesn’t irritate my skin. Don’t let the price steer you away because it truly works — it’s January and I still have some left. A little goes a long way and it’s absolutely worth it.

Actually Works! I was skeptical that this was going to do anything but even the reddest spots will fade to hardly anything within a week with application twice daily. Super happy, great way to help skin look clearer and hopefully it is soon!

This is excellent for hyperpigmentation! I noticed a difference after one use. It lightens spots gradually which minimizes damage to the skin. I will keep using it

Lo compré por los buenos comentarios en el tema de difuminar bastante las manchas que quedan luego de un grano, pued en mi caso lo estuve usando casi 2 meses y como si nada, no me lo difuminó casi cada, por no decir nada. He visto que si hace algo de efecto en los granos salientes, si lo atacas enseguida, si que logra desinflamarlo. Pero a lo que respecta en manchas no me ha hecho ningún efecto. Soy hombre igual la piel es diferente al de la mujer y en ellas igual hace mas efecto, por que la gran mayoria que he leido aqui son mujeres las que les ha hecho efecto.

Literal miracle cream! I was so hesitant to try this but it worked amazingly on my post-acne marks when nothing else did! Highly highly recommend
