Evoluent Armazing Memory Foam Arm Pads - Fits 6" to 11" Long Armchairs (Black)

Great purchase!! I bought these because my desk chair came with hard plastic arm rests, and my elbows were getting sore after using it for about 10-12 hours per day. For what it's worth, my armrests are about 9 inches long and it fits perfect. The armrest cover is actually pretty wonderful. It's a nice, soft elastic type of material that seems like it will last a long time. Inside of it, there is what I assume is memory foam. My only complaint is that this foam is stitched inside the cover, so I assume this is not machine washable. In addition to the cover, there are 2 foam inserts that are GREAT. Honestly, depending on your situation, you might not even need these. The cover provides sufficient padding, but I chose to keep the additional foam. It's very comfortable, and it provided an additional inch to the height of my armrest. On other products, I saw people complaining about them sinking in too much. I must've got lucky when I chose this company because it's a thick, dense foam that doesn't sink much at all. Very worth the price!! The only possible issue I could foresee is them not staying in place. I don't think this will be a problem for me, but if you had armrests that were closer to 6 or 7 inches long, they might slide around. If they had straps that you could tighten around the armrest, it would fix this problem.

I know what you're thinking. $40 to add some padding to my chair's armrests? After all, I'm only in a bit of discomfort when I rest my arms on my chair, which isn't the top of the line model anyway so it's probably more the chairs fault that it didn't ship with better armrests, right? Is this worth it? The answer is a resounding YES. My office chair and the armrests are completely comfortable except when I'm wearing short sleeves and my elbow and bottom of my arm have to rest for long periods of time against the armrest. My chair's armrest is already soft and rubberized, yet not enough - the armrest still rubs and chafes against my skin because I'm doing many minor arm movements when I'm typing or moving the mouse. It sounds like a minor thing but after hours and hours of use it really starts to bug you. I tried using rubber bands and attaching cloths, dishtowels, and my own DIY padding to the armrest in an effort to pad it to prevent the discomfort and chafing on my skin, but nothing really worked right, except these memory foam arm pads. I balked at the price as well but I'm totally satisfied. The fabric is soft and the padding is a stiffer memory foam type that you'd find in a quality bed. It's not just some random foam or layers of fabric - it's actual memory foam that feels like a very thick gel insert like you'd put in your shoes. There is nothing cheap about this product. The memory foam springs back just enough so every time you sit at your chair, it's like it was brand new. It adds about an inch to the total height of your armrests, so keep this in mind if your armrests aren't adjustable and they're already at a comfortable position. I just lowered my armrests an inch and with the pads it's the same height as it was before. I am a bit concerned that eventually I'll probably wear away the fabric that surrounds the padding, but if that means I have to buy one of these every few years I'll gladly do it.

I will admit, I just got these today and have only used them for about 4 or 5 hours but it is so ridiculously obvious how much better this has made my posture and comfort level, I don't see the point in waiting to review. Like another reviewer, I had an issue with an office chair that had arms which did not go high enough to center my body, despite the fact they are adjustable. I'd always end up leaning to one side when I was engaged in work or a phone call, because my posture concentration disappears when I am focused elsewhere. I always said, if I had another inch on each side, I'd be fine. These added a bit more than an inch (I'd guess maybe 2.5 inches of padding) but now I am able to adjust the arms to my liking and I am able to be centered. On top of helping to keep my posture better, they are comfy as can be. I can see a gel padding flattening out really quickly, but these pop back into shape as soon as pressure is taking off. I think memory foam is the way to go, I'd avoid gel. There's enough cushion that I am not close to the hard plastic arms I used to have to deal with but there isn't so much cushion that I sink into it. Basically, they are the perfect level of cushion. If you have issues with arms not being tall enough on your chair, buy these. If you are having pain in your arms because you spend the better part of the day with your elbows on hard office chair arms, buy these. I can't find a negative thing to say.

It's a nice pad for your elbow to rest on. Adds a couple inches of height to the armrest and a lot of cushioning. Not exactly soft like a down pillow but soft like memory foam. There is a little bit of foam that you can take out, I think to make it fit a bigger armrest, but I left it in to keep it thicker. It does take a little work to stretch the elastic onto the armrest but once it's there, it seems to stay very well. My elbow feels and looks much better. I bet it would not fit a chair with very long or thick armrests even if you took both pieces of foam out. My chairs arms are not quite 10 inches long and I really had to struggle to get it on there. I didn't even bother putting the other one on. Since I don't lean on that side it's not worth it. The one I use is great though. Nice and spongy feeling with good 'bounce back'.

Wonderful product, big time sufferer of Carpal Tunnel and RSI while using a Herman Miller Aeron chair thinking that the arm rests were going to be comfortable.. Almost like rubber steel; totally could tell it was irritating my median nerve which causes big damage with long-term use. So, I got the armazing arm rest! Definitely feels a lot better within days use and pretty comfortable, while also allowing to remove one sleeve of memory foam/gel to accommodate space if arm rest is lowered to it's lowest height. I will be sure to update soon after a month or two to show how much improvement so far, but I can tell you for how cheap this is, it's entirely worth every cent for a dramatic instant improvement of reducing your pressure points bringing you onto a whole new path of recovery from RSI/Carpal Tunnel. Oh yeah.. The merchant also was willing to expedite my order to 2-day shipping for free of charge cause I was in such pain and as well even offered to pay the extra shipping charges. This clearly shows, Cyberguys! really do care about the average consumer and they have brilliant support. Thanks again and hope this review may have helped someone!

As a software engineer, I sometimes spend upwards of 14 hours straight at my desk coding and the small arm motions from typing have my forearms and elbows constantly rubbing the arms of the chair. At the end of a day my arms can be stinging, and my muscles aching from unconsciously trying to lift my arms slight off the rests. It's not often that I come back to write a review within minutes of unpacking a product, but having just installed these on my office chair I am enthusiastically satisfied with my purchase. My immediate impression is "wonderful" - exactly what I wanted. I like them so much I want to do a little coding just to test drive them. The fit is great, and my chair has fairly wide armrests, at 3.5" x 11". The padding is thick and soft and the material is silky smooth. The look alright on and don't make my otherwise moderately expensive new posturepedic chair look tacky. They would look a bit better if the padding didn't bulge so much toward the middle - not that I'd want less padding in the middle, but more at the ends, and that might be a concession to fitting shorter arms. So incredibly comfortable. I bought a different armrest cushion that was too soft. After just a couple weeks it was indented from resting my arms on it all day, This one has kept it's shape and fits very well on the arms of my chair. I work a desk job so I am at my desk at least 6-7 hours a day and this has helped me tremendously. I have tried the velcro kind and they slip off and move around. This one stays in place perfectly. I was almost turned off by the elastic, but after trying something else I realized it is the perfect way to attach to my style of chair. It is also quite thick, it raises my arms into the perfect ergonomic position at my desk so my wrists feel better as well. I can't recommend it enough.

My chair at work has unpadded plastic arms. Both arms have cracked down the middle which pinch my arms constantly. I duct-taped around the arms to prevent the cracks from expanding and pinching me but it gets really sticky in the summer. Every chair in my office has unpadded arms so a new chair wasn't an option either. I don't know what took me so long to get on here and search for pads for the arm rests but I'm so glad I did. I honestly didn't even realize that these had an amazing pun in their name when I ordered them (I went strictly by reviews). I was delighted when they came to see a box labeled "Armazing"! I was a little skeptical of the ~$40.00 price tag on these but that went out the window after one day of using them. They are incredibly comfortable and have made my elbows incredibly happy. I'm hoping they are durable so I can move them to any future chairs without arm padding.
