I didn't realize how heavy this tamper was going to be. The weight makes tamping so much easier and uniform. It's a lovely piece and appreciate the little mat to set the tamper on that came in the box. Great product at a great price point.

If you’re looking for a high-quality tamper, that’s reasonably priced then I recommend this one. The tamper has a nice weight to it in a beautiful wood handle. It’s a very nice addition to your espresso machine set up. Perfect for my needs. I’m sure you will like it too.

High quality, looks great and does the job!

It looks expensive but it's not. Has heft- the tamp weighs just under a lb. (11 7/8 oz). Nice little mat for it to nest in when not being used. It's a perfect fit for using with my Saeco Aroma espresso machine. It tamps it perfectly flat right to the edge. And yes- after using a broken off flat bottom plastic scoop as a tamp for the past 10 years, I'm delighted. It is cool!

Love this item, it fits my portafilter well and compacts everything. Feels high quality and makes tamping fun. Easy to get level and grounds don't stick. Stainless steel and handle could be removed if you wanted to for cleaning. Good value, no need to pay 40 bucks for another one. Doesn't really require cleaning, just spin at the end to polish your coffee puck and its clean!

I had little opportunity to judge this tamper and no opportunity to use it. It was too big for my cup (incorrectly ordered) and so I can't comment on that. It was missing the rubber caddy that was supposed to be included and so I returned it for a full refund. Besides that, it looked and felt well made. It has a beautiful wooden handle that could be easily removed for cleaning and the stainless presser is well machined and polished. It felt good in the hand in simulated presses and had it been a 51mm tamper, I might have kept it even with missing the caddy. Packing glitches happen. Customer service in the returning of the product for a full refund was stellar. I don't know what kind of wood the handle was made from, but it was finished beautifully. I hated to return it, but I needed a tamper and the 51mm was unavailable at the time, so I went with another product and seller.

Works perfectly. It’s weighted very well, and packs the coffee in just the way it needs to be. Fantastic quality and I love the wooden colour!

Works well. Nice weight. Good tolerances. Comfortable in the hand. Easy to do good tamping and get 20-30 lb pressure. Worth the money.

Good heavy tamper it’s a handle that fits well in the hand. The rubber mat enables a hard push onto the coffee.
