Sizing runs small
I'm normally a size 14, but had to get a size 16 for them to fit even vaguely right. Size-up.The fabric is much lighter than you'd get with men's work pants, or, at least the Grey is. I can't speak for other colors. My first day wearing them, I got caught on a stud and it ripped a pretty decent hole just below the pocket. I've since patched it, but they didn't even survive one day on a construction site without tearing...That said, I *would* buy these again. The pockets are perfectly placed. The higher rise on these fits comfortably, doesn't sag or stretch after a day of wear. They move with me, and I'm not fighting super heavy fabric to raise my knees while climbing ladders.Still, be aware that they're not going to be perfect for everyone and consider how much you need the heavier fabrics of men's pants.

it looked like I was one of those people on tv where ...
I had gotten other Women's Carhartts before and decided to order these ones online being they were for tall women. Well, apparently that takes a whole new meaning to their sizing. I ordered the same size as my other Carhartt pants and when I got these they were huge! it looked like I was one of those people on tv where they have their "old" pants on that are too big. The quality and everything was great, the sizing was just much too off. That's why I do not want to give lower than three stars. I know if these would have fit they would have lasted a long time because of the material. All the pockets and placement are great as well. I had ordered a size 6, normally I wear a size 4, but in my other Carhartts they were a size 6 as well. I could not order a size smaller being that was the smallest size.

Great, comfortable work pants
I recently moved to a farm and my "city jeans" we're not cutting it for the type of work I am now doing. Tight and low cut jeans are no good for farm life! I knew I needed something made for work, not fashion. These pants are amazing. They are not too heavy, but their weight is significant enough to be durable. I have had these pants for a week and have worn them every time I have been working outside. They have just enough elastic to promote easy movement without being too stretchy. The waistband falls below the belly button, but above the hips. The legs are loose throughout without being baggy. I like these pants so much that I already ordered a second pair. Although many would not consider these pants to be fashionable, I still feel like they look good on! The price is more than fair for the quality.

I'm A Carhartt Girl!
I love Carhartt work pants!! Lots of pockets to stash things in, ruggedness built in so you can really get "down and dirty" in the barn or in the garden, and you can throw them in the washer and dryer with no problem. I ordered a size 6 because I already own a pair of these same style pants in a 6, however, this particular pair was just a tad larger than the first ones. That doesn't bother me at all but I thought I'd mention it in case it helps someone else decide on sizing. LOVE THESE PANTS!!!!!

Great pants, very comfortable but no longer lengths available if you're tall
These are really great pants, very comfortable, but Carhartt does not offer them in anything longer than 32". I've written to them about offering 33" and 34" inseams. Duluth Trading makes a similar pant which DOES come in a longer length. With so many tall people out there, I hope Carhartt offers more options for lengths in the future.

Great long length but too big of a fit throughout
I love how long these are in a 6 tall being 5'10", 135 lbs and needing at least a 34" inseam. But the fit was too big in the waist, butt and legs. And of course they don't have a size 4 tall instead to exchange them with, ugh!!! Carhartt has such inconsistent sizing, how inconvenient they don't carry any of the women's tall size bottoms in the stores to try on there.

Great solid pants
I really like these pants. Yes they are thinner than your typical carhartt work pants, but that is what I like. I find the duck material too thick to be comfortable worn with a harness, this material is soft and flexible. I also like that they have a hammer hook, which most woman's pants do not have. I have had no problem with these pants, I wear them everyday to my job in heavy construction.

Fit great and very easy to move in these. Flattering
These are my favorite work pants. They have enough pockets that are deep enough and are fairly tough. I hike for work and do general landscape-type maintenance and these are perfect.I had a hard time finding the women's, so ordered a pair of the men's and they are just not flexible enough for comfortable hiking.Additionally, they are so comfy and flattering that I wear them even when I'm relaxing in Napa and I get compliments on them all the time.
