Overjoyed with my purchase! This chuck (who shall henceforth be referred to as “Chuck”) has impressed me at every opportunity.Considering Chuck’s sturdiness and quality, the price is very reasonable. Chuck will likely outlive the every other tool I’ve bought for my lathe (Including the lathe).I’ve had a few accidental flying bowls and exploding sticks, but Chuck don’t care. Chuck remains strong. Chuck keeps doing what Chuck’s always done. Holding secure and looking good whilst doing it. We should all strive for a fraction of the strength Chuck possesses. Also Chuck has a fantastic box and is very well presented.Chuck has increased my capabilities as a wood turner and I eagerly look forward to using Chuck in future projects.

Bought this after reading the reviews. It took a while to be delivered but I was ok with that. Once it arrived it has everything needed for a beginner. It’s really heavy and feels well built. I regressed the jaws. The adapter that it came with for my lathe so super happy with that. No complaints

The chuck mostly works as long as you use it in a recess, but if you try and grip a tenon then it just unscrews itself and launches your woodwork project across the shed / barn / workshop / garage.Regret buying it.

Works exactly as advertised. Minimal issues. Loosens occasionally but thats inherently an issue with 99% of scroll chucks. Would buy again

I have many expensive wood chucks and have found these to be of good quality, durability and the price point is amazing. I have installed these on my studio’s Craftsman lathes. There is a reason why they sell out quickly.UPDATE: I now own seven of these Chucks. For the money, they are awesome. The only “drawback” are the two tightening sticks. But you get used to them quickly.
