Question 4

how to clean, remove alge= green / black deposit's

Accepted Answer

First make sure that the aquarium is not getting much sunlight or that the hood lights are not on all the time. Add anti algae additive to water. If aquarium has live fish, consider algae eaters. As far as the silicone, remove from tank and use dish detergent and toothbrush. Soak in a diluted bleach solution for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly before placing back in tank. You also might want to check nitrogen levels but sunlight is probably your worst enemy.
