I bought these as a gift, I was gifted this exact one some months ago, very versatile, I've used them for walks biking even in the shower on dozens of occasions. The ONLY downside to this model is the sound range isn't the best, works great for phone calls and works well for listening to music while working out, but the range isn't there for audiophile types or for instance to use for pc gaming. They seem to be built for mostly voice. Very good headset, love using it while I walk the beach or bike to listen to music and be able to hear normally at the same time. 10/10 better than ear buds any day for sports use. They are one size fits all unless you want to lay your head back into a car seat or chair, then the band pushes back so it's not really made for sitting relaxing. Water resistant enough for using in the shower. Value, when these go on sale they are a PERFECT gift item, something they will use and appreciate. Battery life is also great, after I went walking I forgot to turn them off and picked them up 2 days later, still on medium battery and plenty left for my 1.5hr walk. Highly recommend this original open run se set for personal music enjoyment, working out, and hands free phone calls.

Game Changer !!! After wearing earbuds for year and suffering very uncomfortable "physical" pain inside my ear form the hard plastic contact...1-2 hours max !!!! I now wear these ALL day with no discomfort and the ability to hear my surrounding :) Also had helped with my level 10 !!! Tinnitus !!!! Well made Light weight All day comfort Great battery length and Easy Bluetooth connectivity. 10/10 !!!! And I don't blow smoke lol One mention they r not designed for rocking out so volume level a bit restricted ?

Terrific product. Great sound. Safer on the ears because it lays outside the ear on temple bone instead of inside which could damage inner ear from to much volume. Very comfortable.we use them all the time and have had no problem with them. We have had them over a year now. Easy to set up. Comes with it's on case to keep them protected. My one son recently had a slight issue with his and he called Shokz and they sent him a new one free of charge.

Love these so much!!! They're comfy, they hold charge super well, and the sound quality is good. I prefer these over ear buds because they're more secure. I prefer that they're not noise canceling, because when walking outside, you still get sufficient sound from environment to not jeopardize personal safety. Also, when wearing in the house, I can still hear if someone speaks to me. Perfect!

Since I tried my first pair of these when they first came on the market, I have been a fan. I've owned 3 or 4 pairs and given at least two as gifts. They are especially useful to me since I am blind and require the content from my phone to be read aloud in order to use it. Since these do not cover my ears, I am still able to hear what is going on around me while I use the phone, and I am also not bothering others with the synthesized speech or other content playing in the open. When I leave the house, I just keep them on.These are not for audiophiles. The music quality is surprisingly good given how they work, but it isn't going to win any awards. These will work fine for music, but they are better for spoken content. They will vibrate a bit on your head when the sound is up high. It doesn't bother me, but everyone is different. Loud environments such as restaurants or public transportation will be a challenge. If you don't need your ears open in a particular situation, earplugs help.I do have a couple of complaints. Quality has vastly improved over the years, but I still have yet to use a pair until the battery fails before something else stops working. The earlier models were prone to breaking. The newer ones would would be hard to physically break, but eventually stop working properly. The last pair of this model that I owned just quit one day. Still, I like them so much that I keep buying them.My big gripe, the mute warning! I'm on a lot of conference calls where I stay on mute a lot. I have to be sure and use the mute function of the device, because using the mute function of the headset results in a loud, low double beep that is too distracting to leave on. The beeping feature is a good one and something that I look for in a headset. It just needs to be more discreet. When I learned of the OpenComm model meant to be used with a computer, I almost bought it immediately. How great would it be to have one of these with the greater range afforded by the USB transceiver and the ability to work with my phone too! What stopped me was all the complaints online that it too has the loud annoying mute beep. I won't be buying one of those.So, for general use in situations where you need to be aware of your environment, or if you just don't like things in or on your ears, these are great! I rate them 4 stars because of the mute issue and quality concerns.

The first pair of these stopped working after a couple of months. I would have given them a two-star rating rather than a one-star rating at that point because even though they had stopped working, there was a lot I liked about them. They came very well packaged, felt like serious quality, were effortless to connect, stayed securely in place and worked well for my purposes.I’m a musician/composer with serious ear problems that prevent working for extended periods with traditional headphones. These allowed me to work longer hours while doing some of the more mundane, frequently repeated procedures that are required for recording and mixing.The fidelity is not high enough quality for serious tasks that require acute listening but they work fine for much of the process. And, as advertised, they are great for walking and other activities where being aware of your surroundings matter. The sound quality is fine for all but the serious, audiophile user, and those people are clearly not the market for these.The reason I am now giving them a five-star rating is because the company is easy to communicate with, seem genuinely concerned about their customers’ satisfaction and are highly responsive. They quickly provided a return shipping label with easily followed instructions and within 10 days, I received a replacement pair. During that time I received ongoing updates from them regarding the return process.The communications were impressive with a friendly concerned tone that went well beyond boiler plate corporate responses. I like dealing with this company and would recommend both the company and the product. There is no way to know if I will experience another failure but at this point I am highly satisfied. If they fail again I will reconsider this rating and repost.

I had these for 3 years and still going strong. The batter life is incredible. The sound is great. I only use them for work, but they keep me hands free. The buds lasted longer than the charger. That's crazy. These are the best blue tooth buds I've ever owned. I have several different one including the Apple ear pod. They blow them all away!!

Like the Open Run model, it fits well and is comfortable to wear for extended periods.Strategies for Mitigating Surrounding Sounds:In previous iterations of the Open Run Shozk, earplugs were included as a default accessory. While this may seem counterintuitive to the principles of open hearing and bone conduction technology, I have discovered that in situations where external sounds are undesirable, using earplugs with the Shozk headphones can be highly effective in providing a degree of sound isolation.

I’ve been using the SHOKZ OpenRun headphones for a couple of months and I love them. The sound great and they’re super comfortable - the only thing I would like is for the band to be a little smaller and fit more snugly to the back of my head. However once positioned they stay in place and you forget your wearing headphones.The open-ear design is great as you can hear traffic and still have conversations with people around me, which feels much safer. Battery life is good - only had to charge 3 times, use them for around 30-40 minutes a day.Call quality is clear, i have had people say they struggle to hear me though.They are great if you’re active and want to stay aware of your surroundings.

I love the product. Battery life is decent. Sound quality is very good for doing office meeting in a normal closed room. Because it's an open ear technology, in noisy environment, we can't expect good listening.
