How strong are the magnets? I’m really concerned with losing items on my keychain…

Very Very Very strong. If the “unit” mag connect is not connected to its self, it will look for other magnetic items to connect to, like pocket knives, car keys, nuts bolts screws etc. I hope that helps. I love mine btw.

I ordered 2 of these and one of the magnets has fallen out and is lost- how do I get a replacement?

Hi there, I am sorry to hear that :( No worries, all our items come with a 2-year warranty coverage. Please reach out to us (with your Order ID) for further assistance.

I purchased 2, but why do the magnets repel each other when switching between car keys?

This is a polarity issue. The magnets are either positive or negatively charged. Take the two items and put them on a table. Take the one on the right and take one connecter end and connect it to one set of car keys. Connect the other end to the common key ring. Take the item on the left and separate it and see which end connects to the common key ring. The one that connects to the common key ring is the one you put on the second set of car keys.

What is the poundage before it pulls apart?

About 3 lbs as advertised- holds a huge amount of keys but releases with a light pull.
