I don't really know what to say other than that it works, I used it to power 2 hard drives in an original Xbox

These are much better than the ones I previously ordered. The pins are strong compared to other brand i bought.

Edit: I found out later that this can be dangerous to use with some cheaper or older PSU's (Power Supplies) see my comments on this review below. If your PSU is new then you most likely already have the cables to power two GPU's. Check if you PSU came with 6-2pin connectors or 8pin connectors (they have two extra pins hangin off that aren't used in all gpu's) Feel free to comment with your PSU and GPU names and Ill help you find the right cable. I used them to better manage the LP4 power requirements for 2x EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 4GB video cards (for SLI). the videocards require FOUR LP4 power connections EACH! so 8 total. YES 8! I ordered four of these and they cut the requirement in half so I only had to use ONE LP4 power cable (1xCorsair PSU power cable with 4 LP4 connectors), and they worked great. I was concerned they might not because the Video cards included cables (black ones in the picture) only had three pins, and these had four pins. But they work exactly as I hoped! This cable works perfectly once it's connected. Since it's cheap, I can't rightly complain, but it was difficult to plug in sometimes since the pins move around quite a bit in the connector.

I needed to expand the power capabilities of my NAS which has a PSU that has only a few plugs but plenty of wattage for drives. Since my NAS only uses a low power CPU; I need all the energy for drives. This did the trick to expand the Molex; which I then used to split off into SATA power connectors. I have a few of these that are 8 years old and they are still going so I expect the same here. If I have an issue I will report back.

Molex cables are going out of fashion for a good reason. Snapping these together is often a trying experience. With the advent of SATA hard drives with improved power cables these things are becoming obsolete. I gave it 5 stars because it is still available and the quality is as good as you are going to find. These are really only used in older equipment.

Works great to split a molex into 2. Used with a molex to sata for powering a fan hub.
