L'Oreal Paris Preference Permanent Luminous Hair Colour, 8.624 Bright Red

I've dyed my hair red for over six months, this is one I hadn't tried yet. I watched a YouTube video to get an idea of the intense colour. The product is a cream and a runny gel that is mixed together, so the final mixture is a little runnier than I'm used to. So as little goes a long way.. It stains the skin, so Vaseline on the hair line is recommended,And baby wipes to clean all you go. The product does make the eyes sting a little so make sure your in a well ventilated room. Leave for 30 mind then rinse well. The after care conditioner is excellent.. It's in a long tube and has about four applications.. As my hair is just below my ears. The colour is nice but not as red as I was expecting. My hair has been bleached though, so doesn't hold red dye well.

Literally the best hair dye i have ever used , so easy just tip the liquid into the bottle and shake , then screw of the tip and dye . And the gloves actually fit perfect , and best of all fantastic colour that lasts , what more can you ask well done loreal outstanding ...

Covers dark hair excellently washes out quickly and dyes clothing when hair wet or rubbing on clothing

Easy to apply to dry hair, then just wait the recommended time and wash out. Bright red hair. Great.

I used to use this hair dye when I was 17/18 religiously, before I decided to go back dark. I’ve been natural (dark dark brown nearly black is my natural hair colour), for about 4 years. I plunged and decided it was time to bring the red back. Purchased the trusty Bright Red colourista gel dye and it’s worked amazingly. The only downside is it’s a 7/10 on odur / smell to me but with the windows open it’s so much more manageable smell wise. The colours amazing and I know it’ll last until the redye in 4-5 weeks. Note; my hair is essentially black and this has turned the main body red, without any bleach!

My favourite hair dye! A lovely bright red and a lot of product in the box. My hair is medium length and I have more than enough Only downside is the transfer for the first week - prepare for red pillowcases and a red face if you perspire! Worth it for the colour though

I've been using this brand and colour for years. The colour is perfect, my hair always feels in great condition after using it and it covers my greys. I'm naturally brunette but it goes a lush red colour on the roots, and really does stay that vibrant red. On my ends, it doesn't last as long but I don't expect it to since red is one of the hardest colours to maintain. So I use a semi-permanent dye now again on my end to spruce it up, or just let it fade naturally which gives my hair a more ombre look. (See the photo's of different stages of vibrancy). I never pre-lighten my hair and always get a beautiful shade of red. I recommend using a clarifying shampoo the day before you plan to dye your hair so that it strips the build up of products, giving you a cleaner surface for the dye!

Been my go to colour for the past few months. Tried a few other brands and this is the best for the red colour that I have been achieving to get
