Online Battle Game - Tank Walker

My 10 year old son has lost interest in Bakugan over the last couple of months and loves this game. It's like Pokemon or Bakugan but is a multi-player online game with pretty cool graphics. The free figure makes this a great gift compared to just buying the game currency online. Thanks Amazon.

This thing is a piece of crap. Buy the game module then you have to download a 738MB update in order to play it. Their server is slow and getting slower, it's Christmas morning and I have a 8 year old throwing a fit because it is still downloading, most likely because their server is getting overwhelmed. I am getting to a point of taking this piece of crap and returning it and just ban it from my house. Who cam up with this brilliant plan. Also the instruction on this is pretty much zero.

My son really likes to play this game, but we found that it is a money drain. Most of what he wants to do such as obtaining characters, trading characters, and upgrading characters all cost money - Nanocash, and you do not get much value for the money. We also found that players do use negative and somewhat nasty language toward other players. Also, some players have found a way to steal other players characters during trades. Technical support is aware of this, but they do not seem to be able to do anything about it. My son has lost two of his best characters this way. This is not a game for young boys.

I wasn't too sure about the whole Nanovour gig, but my 10yr and 9yr old sons LOVE this game! It's easy to use, fun to play and the online interface is better than I thought it would be. Though it NEEDS the online interface to accomplish anything. That was my only complaint, but the online access is easy and not expensive. Playing with other units makes offline fun much more easy, and its an online game with a smart twist. The extra offline games make it easier to play offline and with other units. My boys are currently favoring this over their DS's! and that has been since they got them at Christmas.
