Excellent, heavy duty stand for iPad 13” or smaller
This is my 2nd CTA gooseneck iPad stand. My other stand, which I’ve had for 7 years, will not work with my new 13” iPad. These stands are very well made with a sturdy and strong chrome steel gooseneck. Despite what other reviewers say, it comes with clear assembly instructions (one sheet) that perhaps was overlooked by others. Those who found the base wobbly did not put the two stand supports together correctly as described in instruction 2.1. Place the base cross supports atop each other in an “X” on a flat, level surface. If they wobble, reverse the order of the supports, then attach the base to the pole. You will need a pair of pliers or a small adjustable wrench to tighten the 4 bolts and nuts on the base. The only assembly difficulty I encountered (as did some others) was screwing the gooseneck onto the threaded pole. It took several attempts to get the 3/8” screw started. Once the threads were perfectly aligned, it screwed together easily. A part on my old stand wore out due to my iPad and keyboard case being too heavy. CTA graciously sent me a free replacement part. Their support and responsiveness has been excellent. The iPad holder has been improved & completely redesigned from the earlier model.

Highly recommend.
Simple to assemble. Very sturdy, and stable. I have my iPad mounted on this and use in my sewing room to stream video and also to refer to PDF project instructions. The wheels are convenient to move around on my tiled floors. It is easy to mount your iPad and rotate for portrait or landscape. (portrait for reading my PDFs, landscape for video.) I had to remove the Apple case (the older iPad Retina cover is a one piece cover/case design) because it is too thick to fit in the mount corners. That is OK with me because I have this iPad dedicated to my sewing room. The corner mounts are a pretty slim fit, so don't depend on your case fitting. I also like the little storage cradle to store a charger and my wireless headphones. High quality product and great price too. I am a happy camper!

Good stand. Terrible instructions. Missing a part.
I use tablet arms for a number of application and am familiar with several. Most have issues of some sort. This one is pretty good. The base is heavy enough there are no worries about tilting, the holder is strong. I have some concerns about the lifespan of the gooseneck but its too soon to say. Wheels roll great on carpet *if you unlock them*. The printed instructions, in addition to being extremely small and blurry, were actually for a different product. It was very similar to this stand but the holder and gooseneck assembly are different. It was also missing a nut for connecting the poll to the base and had 3 extra random washers. You will need an adjustable wrench or small channel locks to complete assembly as the instructions tell you to hold small metal nut with your bare hands when tightening.

This tablet holder has a small heavy base & locking wheels. Very sturdy is all positions.
What I liked. This tablet holder has a small heavy base with locking wheels and can fit in a small space. It is very well built, adjustable in height and holds the tablet in any position. It is very sturdy in all positions and it was very easy to assemble. Amazing price for this nice of a stand. What did not like was that Amazon packed the original box in a much larger Amazon box, without any additional packing material, so the first one came in damaged. Amazon customer service acted fast and found me a new one, and sent it to me by express 2-day shipping. They also covered the return shipping fees.

Reliable Stand for Recording Lessons
I’ve been using the Gooseneck Floor Stand iPad Holder with wheels to record my lessons for review by a board of teachers, and it’s been a game-changer. The adjustable gooseneck arm makes it easy to position my iPad at the perfect angle, and the secure grip ensures my device stays in place throughout the session. The wheels make it simple to move around the classroom without any hassle, and the sturdy build gives me confidence in its durability. While it can wobble slightly when fully extended with a larger tablet, it hasn’t been a major issue for me. Assembly was straightforward, though the instructions could have been clearer. Overall, it’s a reliable tool that has significantly improved the efficiency of my lesson recordings.

Came Missing A Part - Customer Service was Meh
The box arrived and it was pretty well pummeled. That shoulda been my first clue that this wasn't gonna go well. Opened it and started putting it together. Very heavy. Very sturdy. But missing a crucial part that rendered it useless. I called the company. Literal phone call. Nice enough fella on the phone said they'd send the missing part out in the next day or 2. A week later I called back to check. He said "We'll send that out in a day or 2." This time I wasn't falling for it. Told him that's what he said a week ago. He said "well there are a lot of orders right now. They are ahead of you." When I argued that my part should take precedence he said he'd call the warehouse but they were on vacation for the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. I'm Jewish and I said "that's weird b/c Sukkot is a minor holiday and usually lasts only a day." He said "well they're all out for a week." So I called back the next week. He said he'd check the warehouse. Days later I got an email that said they don't have the part and don't know when it will come in so go ahead and return the stand. So I did that. Weeks ago. Today the part arrived. Now I have the part I needed but not the rest of the stand b/c it was returned. Long story short [too late] I won't be purchasing from this company again. Buy at your own risk.

Great stand, but have someone help you with assembly.
Good stand. I'm very satisfied. Perfect for Zoom calls. This is my second one; I originally had the one without wheels and I loved it, but decided I wanted wheels. I couldn't find any wheels online I was happy with that I could add myself. I'm happy with my new one, except for one thing: the metal pole makes a horrible noise when I adjust the height! Like wake-everyone-in-the-house loud. It sounds like styrofoam rubbing together. The first one was very quiet, so I'm thinking this is just a problem with my particular stand, so I won't deduct a star for it. I am currently looking for something to get rid of the screeching, though, because it's grating. I'm not sure why some people are having problems with their tablets fitting. I have a 10.5 inch Samsung S4 and it fits easily, using the thickest adhesive pad. It's a secure fit. I also am able to keep my silicone case on, which is nice. I had a bit of wobbling at first, but after taking a closer look at the screws at the base, I realized I had a couple that were slightly off. It's imperative to make the base plate perfectly flush with the two crossed plates holding the wheels. I've seen some reviews about this stand not being tall enough (one person said 4 feet), and I wonder if they know the metal gooseneck extension pole pulls out of the black one. It's definitely taller than 4 feet! As for problems with rotation being too tight, you adjust the Y screw to loosen or tighten to your liking. Very easy. One bit of advice (and it's important, so learn from my mistakes!): HAVE SOMEONE ASSIST YOU WHEN ASSEMBLING THIS! It was rage-inducing trying to hold the two heavy metal pieces crossed and the base of the pole on top, perfectly aligned while holding the screws in straight, and screwing them in keeping the washer and nut from falling off from the other side using only my fingers - the tools provided were near useless - and I ended up with scrapes on my fingertips. It's too heavy and cumbersome tipping it to put the screws in, I tried leaning it against my shoulder, but the heavy pieces kept slipping out of place or falling apart. Some better tools will help immensely. Don't let this scare you away from getting this stand, though. With partner and a good wrench you'll be fine. I just received this stand today and finished assembling it about two hours ago, so if I have any problems with it, I'll update this review.

Great stand, wheels come off easy
I actually LOVE this stand! The gooseneck is very strong, I love the ease of use and that it holds my iPad (instead of me having to hold it) and watch tv/play games/check emails, etc. I can use my tablet anywhere it can come with me being on wheels. I loved the little holder that held my phone that was connected to the stand. At the press of a button you can secure or remove the tablet while it’s still in its case. It was easy to adjust the height and angle of my tablet in this stand. However, after assembly (following the directions exactly, using the tools/parts provided), all the wheels did NOT touch the floor. 2/4 wheels were on the ground at any given time. Not only did they not touch the ground, they actually came off the tablet holder as I was using it. For those reasons I had to return this item. Unfortunately there was only an email to the seller, no phone number for customer service which is why I chose to return it instead of just replace necessary parts.
