Good weight and balance. Great racket for beginners. Has lasted me many games and even stayed with me as I’ve gotten better!

I like the tension and single body frame. I've played with more expensive versions that are a bit lighter, but this one fit my budget and intermediate skill level. Once you're more comfortable competing against higher level players, it makes sense to upgrade from this. But as a starter this is a good racket!

Solid rec racket, though not as powerful as expected but maybe I’m just bad. Did put some weight near the handle bc it felt to slow sometimes tho maybe that’s why it’s not as powerful

Do not buy. Received a product that has a astrox 99 sign and the actual racket is GR303 and on top of it the racket is used with chipped paint and beat up rims. It’s just awful.

The Frame itself is relatively light but solid. You might not feel the spring to be as High Tenstion like others, however I think the Frame and Spring as Advertised help to Take Control of the Court. Which help to absorb some Speed from Opponent when you receive hit. I found this useful when my Opponent love smashing, then I can Return a Softer Weaker Hit send to thr front line or Empty Area to win. Of course, personal skill is a factor too but this racket do help!

The product is the same as the description. With racket bags included, I don't have to worry about it, during shipping. However, I would recommend Amazon place some airbags to prevent any unforeseen damages during shipping because I was nervous when I opened the package. Well, luckily, mine's delivered perfectly.

Does not come with the right tension.

The Yonex Astrox 99 Play is MADE IN CHINA because there are basically 4 types of Astrox 99, which are Play (Cheapest and Made in China), Game (Made in Taiwan). Then Pro, and Tour is Made in Japan. I've been using the Play several times, been great! However, since it's strung, looks like it'll be better if you want to restring because after playing for 4 times, it went down to 18lbs on the string.

Head heavy racket good for smash. However for net play I find it to be a bit hard to control

I’ve been using this racquet weekly since purchase and only had to restring it after eight months. Would recommend for beginners up to intermediate. Good quality throughout.

Good quality first timer raquet that has the heavy head that is easy to generate power with as a beginner. However, the weightiness may increase some soreness in the forearm and shoulder with my beginner technique but overall, the build quality is excellent compared to the absolute cheapest options on Amazon and the racquet has held up well despite poor technique and heavy abuse from a beginner badminton player.
