This smells amazing! My hair is too fine to use this product but I have used it on my mans beard to test the product and it works well, moisturizes well.

Recommended by my SIL. This is the best product I have ever tried for curls in post menopausal post cancer treatment hair. It defines the curls and separates them like mousse does but you don't rip your hair out trying to brush through it after it dries and even after brushing, leaves hair looking soft and healthy! Goodbye frizz!

While I love this hair product, smells ok, it doesn’t get sticky or greasy or hard (crunchy), after about half to 3/4 of the bottle it starts to weigh my hair down. I have 2C/3A waves/curls that’s prone to frizz, shaft is fine, use to be extremely thick. It has thinned in the last few years (quite alarmingly might I sadly say), but I still have to use a good bit of product and for this reason I shampoo with clarifiers. This product, despite my cleaning routine will weigh my hair down after using a bottle. I will have to take a break from use and am currently trying ways to mix this with my other go to products to combat this. I like the way it works and wish I could use it all the time as I love what it does for my curl pattern- it’s hard to find products for my temperamental hair. I would completely recommend just note that if your hair is thin/fine and weighs down easy that this product can make that an issue, otherwise I would highly recommend for coarse hair hands down!!! The only reason I didn’t give it all stars is for its heaviness.

Keeps my curls frizz free.

I have very fine C1/2 hair. I have used Curls Creme Brule as my leave-in conditioner for years. The hair on the back of my head near the scalp tends to run very dry so, when I feel the need to give a bit more extra moisture to that area between washes, a dollop of Creme Brule does the trick incredibly well. I also dilute it in water to refresh my curls every other day (sometimes starting the day after my wash day if my hair feels a bit dry). Although these applications may be "not as directed," they have worked incredibly well at keeping my curls soft, bouncy, nicely formed and moisturized without being stiff, greasy or weighed down. Plus, the scent is absolutely divine! After trying Lavish Curls Moisturizer, my hair just seemed to look and feel greasy even though I tried using it as directed and then attempted to use it a variety of different ways because I really wanted to like it. No luck, it just made my hair look unwashed and sticky. (It smells like the smell that seems to be the primary scent that hits you when you walk into a salon.)

I have been using and recommending this product for several years. It has been a while since I purchased, and I am very disappointed that recently they have changed the formula for this cream. I noticed as soon as I opened the package that the cream was a different color. I thought maybe it had been opened and oxidized somehow, but comparing it to my previous bottle I can see that the company has changed the ingredients for lower quality ingredients. I should have looked at recent reviews as it appears many people have also had this issue as well. I will be looking in stores to see if there any of the old formula left and unfortunately will be switching to a different brand unless Curls changes their formula back.

I’m really sad about this.. My sister got this from tjmax a long time ago, but recently put some in my hair and it smelled SO good. Just like the name, It smelled like a lovely caramel but why does mine smell funky like chemicals? I wanted to check if mine was expired, but there is no date on it so I’m not sure why it smells so horrible. It at least controls my frizz makes my curls very soft, but I mostly got it for the smell. I don’t know how my bottle could smell so different from my sisters, I’m disappointed. edit: it’s been some time of me using it and I notice that it actually does smell very nice but if I smell too close the funky chemical is still there

I love this curl cream, it smells amazing!!! And it leaves my hair feeling really soft and manageable. Perfect for under my gel. I use their gel from this range too. I sometimes use a tiny bit to clap out the cast from my gel and take frizzy bits.

Product as described, deliverd on time, I did not find the scent overpowering.
