FolkArt Acrylic Paint in Assorted Colors (2 oz), 2390, Podge Pink

First attempt at using acrylic paint. This color was more than perfect for my art project. I did buy 2 bottles but only needed one. Very happy with purchase and highly recommend.

I used this acrylic paint for my dollhouse build and I love it. I purchased the matte version and used on everything in the house including trim, doors, and shutters. It was used on everything except the actual house, which I used actual wall paint. Typically three coats gives it the look I want and it dries super fast and is easy to blend. I even added it to the joint compound I used for my house foundation. So there are multiple uses and I love the color variety offered.

Love the color and consistency of this paint. I've used this bottle on three separate occasions to paint dollar tree planters in order to make them look a bit more expensive. For this particular project, I added some white acrylic paint from dollar tree to this paint along with some baking powder to add some texture. The size is perfect for testing the colors before committing to a large bottle. I did not find the odor strong nor offensive. Because the weather was cold out, I decided to use it inside the house. There was no over powering or lingering odor. Drying time was about 2 hours considering that I used multiple layers and baking powder to the mixture. Overall, I love the excellent coverage of the paint and would definitely purchase again and also try other colors for different crafts or projects.

The perfect thickness and coverage. The colors are amazing. The only downside, which is why 4 stars instead of 5, is the occasional watery bottle.

These are craft acrylic paints, and they all work really well no matter the brand. They may not be professional-grade, but they perform perfectly. Some colors may need more than one layer for full coverage, but that’s very easy to work with. They’re extremely affordable, easy to find, and the variety of colors available is amazing. The only tip I would add is that if you can, consider getting a professional-grade white for very bright final highlights. Craft paint whites are usually not as strong or opaque. Overall, a great value and very fun to use.

This is a lovely deep colour and works nicely as a background. It’s a bit potent though, so open a window.

Ich habe bereits Matte Acrylfarben von einer anderen Marke, die sind allerdings im Vergleich zu dieser Marke nicht so streifenfrei wie diese. Die Farben von folk art gefallen mir deutlich besser. Leider sind die etwas teuer. Ich bin froh, dass ich diese für mich entdeckt habe und freue mich damit zu arbeiten. Ich werde definitiv noch welche bestellen.
