Exact fit!
This gasket is really hard to find; doesn't look like much but just wait til the old is hard and starts a very slow leak! This gasket is also ORIGINAL equipment!

OEM - stopped the oil leak
OEM - stopped the oil leak from the original gasket which became hard and brittle over time and miles. It's a gasket with a filter for the VTEC oil system. Part# 15845-RAA-A01. This is the front side, and the rear VTEC Solenoid is the opposite end of that system and another common leak point. My leak was the front one.You have to take the drive belt off, then unbolt the PS pump (can leave hoses connected?), then unbolt and remove the belt tensioner (might be a good time to check the pulley, or maybe replace this whole assembly while you've got it removed). When you take that little cover off, oil is going to spill out, so be ready with rags/etc to catch the oil. Just clean it well and be sure it's all dry before installing the new gasket. Reverse order to reassemble.

appears to be legit - fit correctly
adding in my experience since other reviewers have questioned authenticity, etc. My packaging was intact, unopened, and appears to be genuine. It has been installed without issue - so far no engine codes and no leaks. I would buy again.

Trying to find the real OEM
So I purchased one of these vtec screens from one seller that came in a zip lock that stated it was in fact OEM .I'm hard of believing this so I ordered another that came in the OEM honda package .After examining them both up close I can say both are OEM .For the others that like thier Honda parts in Honda packaging you can see in the picture how these could come and are in fact genuine.

NOT GENUINE
Zero reasons to repackage a new genuine part unless it’s not genuine. Purchased because of other reviews that say it’s legit.

OEM Honda Gasket. Works Great
So my VTEC Spool went out and while I was digging around youtube (like all real mechanics) I found that people were also changing this part. Amazon also said people buy this part also. This takes a bit longer to chage out than the VTEC spool valve. I also found that the orginal gasket was leaking so win win. Pretty straight forward: Remove the serpentine belt (out of the way), move (not disconnect) the steering pump, then remove the belt tensioner. From there its two bolts and a quick swap out and cleaning and your good. Also if you need a new belt now is a good time, Its a bit harder to get a new belt on btw.Part arrived quickly and came in basic packaging but had correct part numbers so I was cool with that.
