No. 7 1/2 shot is 0.095" diameter. You need .22" diameter. Could use F/TTT which is .220" or buy purpose made projectiles.

if i were to hit this with a hammer, would it crack or dent?

Not sure I understand the question, it’s a bag of lead shot balls about 1.5mm in diameter. If you hit it with a hammer you will b probably break the bag sending them everywhere.
