I've been milling my own flour for a couple of years now, and I'm always searching for high-quality, clean wheat berries. I decided to try Palouse Brand because of their commitment to being glyphosate-free and the fact that they're a family farm. I'm so glad I did. Right out of the bag, you can tell these are quality. The berries are clean, uniform, and have a fresh, wholesome smell. They grind into a beautiful, soft, light-colored flour that has been incredible to work with in my sourdough starter and loaves. The flavor it adds is fantastic—slightly sweet, nutty, and so much better than anything store-bought. Plus, the bag has a little code you can scan to see exactly when and where your wheat was harvested. That level of transparency is amazing. This is my new go-to, without a doubt.

I love this wheat! It's really clean, had only a few "black spot" berries. It milled flawlessly and made such delicious bread and pizza crusts! The wheat berries are a great size and look healthy- they should germinate well if you want. They're very versatile, and cooked quite well when used whole. I'll be buying this again soon! I appreciated the durable bag, too.

These wheat berries are very clean and made wonderful pretzels. The hard white is light enough to make pretzels and soft buns. These berries are not as dense as the Khorasan(Kamut) or hard red wheat berries.

I’ve been very happy with these hard white wheat berries. The flavor is excellent and noticeably better than other bulk wheat I’ve used. When milled on a fine setting, the flour still retains part of the bran and germ, which adds depth and character without being overly coarse or bitter. I’ve used this wheat for both bread and cookies, and it performs well in each application. The bread has a pleasant, slightly sweet wheat flavor and good structure, and the cookies come out with a richer taste than what I get from store-bought whole wheat flour.
