On 27th November 2013 Simple Minds played a very special concert and filmed it at the brand new award-winning venue the SSE Hydro Glasgow, the first concert to be filmed there. This deluxe digipak package features a DVD with a 93 minute edit of the concert, two CDs containing the audio, and a booklet containing a selection of beautiful photos of the occasion. Great concert footage
I'm a huge SM fan so take that into account, but this is a great CD and DVD. Great quality, and brings back so many great memories of me seeing them live in their 80's heyday.

Reason to celebrate
This is a great performance from a band who have been putting on great shows 4 years. If you were lucky enough to catch them in the 70's this will bring you back to that time. This show is both mesmerizing and timeless.

What A Stellar Homecoming Performance
Nothing like playing in your hometown to bring out a stellar performance. Wish I was in the crowd that night. The whole concert DVD is great and you have the CDs to listen to in the car. Standout songs Don't You (Forget About Me) and the moving Mandela Day. If your a fan buy this now!!!

Great recording. Amazing concert. Rock music lovers of all sorts should grab this. It's a great way to see Simple Minds if you haven't already. I recommend this to those that have never seen them, and to those that want to see them over and over again. They look comfortable and relaxed and are in top form. A great show and a great addition to any fan's collection.

One of their very best!
This is my 21st Simple Minds record. It's amazing all the way through! I've been a fan since 1986 and this is easily one of the best live recordings, possibly better than "Live in the City of Lights". Definitely worth buying.

Simple Minds looks and sounds great in this concert!
This concert is awesome! I love how you get the DVD, which works in US DVD players, and the CD so you can watch it and listen to it in the car! Simple Minds hasn't lost a thing, in fact, with this new line-up they are better than ever!

Soy fan de Simple Minds desde sus inicios, pero, reconozco que me lo pensé más de dos veces a la hora de decidirme. Después de tantos años, pensé que su directo habría perdido mucho. Leí la opinión de otra persona, y decidí comprarlo. Y para nada me arrepiento. Es un grandísimo concierto, con un gran directo, capaz de transportarte a épocas anteriores. Para mí ha sido una sorpresa muy grata. Aún siendo fan, y aveces perdiendo un poco la objetividad, reconozco que el dvd no me ha decepcionado en absoluto. Gran compra. Sólo lamento no tener un home cinema mejor para poderlo disfrutar más.
