We purchased one of these on sale in the hope it would help moderate the severity of pollen season in upstate NY and the dander generated by two large labradors. It has a nice, clean look and small foot print, which we feel is important. The HEPA filter was shipped inside it in a bag that needs to be removed but doing so was incredibly quick and easy to do. Twist the top a quarter turn and place to one side. Lift out the filter, remove the bag, lower the filter back in using the two tabs provided on it for that purpose, lift the lid back on and quarter twist to close. It takes 2 mins. Then its' plug-in, turn on and choose ""Auto" or a fan speed using the touch sensitive panel on top. You can control it from your iphone if you're into that but it certainly isn't necessary. The first thing we noticed is how quiet it is. Effectively soundless in sleep mode and at fan speed 1. Barely noticeable at fan speed 2, unless you're right next to it, noticeable at fan speed 3 when you are in the same room as it but not obnoxious. Noticeably louder at fan speed 4 which should be considered a 'Turbo" mode. Then we noticed the impact of running it - vastly reduced swelling of the eyes and sinuses of those suffering from hay fever and a significant reduction in the doggy smell of our labradors. It works really well. We have taken advantage of the ability to control this by iPhone to set a schedule where it automatically runs in sleep mode (low, continuous fan) from 10pm to 5am. Then at fan speed 2 from 5am to 5:30am, ramping up to fan speed 3 from 5:30am to 8am before switching to auto from 8am to 10pm. Because of the relatively severe allergies suffered by a couple of our family members the P2.5 micron threshold is set to 2 ug per meter cubed and this filter has been able to attain that incredibly low level with that schedule within a few hours of all windows and doors to the outside being closed to the 1800 sq. ft area it services. At this point we have an oasis for our hay fever sufferers to return to each evening and it's made an incredible difference to their comfort. Do they still take Claritin or Allegra during pollen season? Yes, we've found it necessary to deal with the pollen at work and in the garden. Are they doing better than they were before we got this filter? Yes, the continuously swollen and itchy, weeping eyes are gone. The inflamed nasal passages are gone. Their sleep deprivation is gone. Their quality of life has improved dramatically. We had no idea how dramatic an impact adding a quality, appropriately sized HEPA filtration system would have. This unit is rated for something like 3000 sq. ft. We're using to control air quality in a 1800 sq.f.t open plan area and its doing a great job of that without having to run the fan at high speed for prolonged periods of time. We've had this for several weeks now and experienced 1st hand how well it can deal with really terrible air quality when the smoke from the fires in Quebec blew into NY. Opening the door to come into the house with the shopping during the worst of it briefly dropped the air quality from a PM2.5 of 001 to as high as a PM2.5 of 185 within 12 feet of the door. This was then quickly reduced to a PM2.5 of less than 20 in an hour and back to 001 in about 2 hours after the door was closed. The outside airs PM2.5 was apparently North of 300 at this time (sources accuweather and the news), the air was literally a hazy brown like smog and this filter was able to detect it, automatically adjust its fan speed to clear it and maintain perfect air quality in the house. Does it work? Absolutely, quietly and brilliantly. Would we buy this again? Yes, in fact we have so that we can control the air quality for one of our allergy sufferers in another area where they have to spend prolonged periods of time. That one's been in place for about 3 weeks and has done exactly what we hoped it would do - improve the quality of life at work in a 7000 sq.ft. open plan office area. Now this is well beyond the manufacturers claimed coverage for a unit and it looks like they're right based on who's apparently benefiting and who isn't but here's the important point. The benefits to the workforce have been so noticeable to management they're now considering upgrading the offices HVAC system to include HEPA filtration. I think that speaks volumes.

my house is 1700 sq ft. with a semi open concept plan with high ceilings. I chose this brand and model based on the fact I had a big space with high ceilings. The air purifier was easy to set up and connect to Alexa and the Vsync app. I have two dogs and no exhaust fan in my kitchen. It does an excellent job clearing the air when cooking and a relatively good job with reducing pet odors. I'm happy with my choice. I will try the pet specific filter when a change is needed. I love the sleep mode and the fact you can set a timer to switch modes automatically. Super quiet on Auto - low and sleep mode.

I don't often write reviews but in this case I wanted to as the unit met my expectations.The purifier (Core 600S) comes as advertised. The filter is enclosed in a plastic bag, which must be removed before turning on the unit. The instructions are clear and easy to follow to open the top of the purifier, and replace the filter once the bag has been removed from around it. The unit is very quiet when in "Auto" mode, if you manually adjust the fan speed to max, it becomes noisy, but not unbearably so. I generally only use the max speed if I notice the reading on the screen going high, and then slip it back on auto once things are under control. The unit is app controlled with speed control, scheduling, power and filter life details all available therein. From the moment I purchased this and turned it on, I noticed a drastic improvement in the air quality in my home. My wife and I are both sinus sufferers, and since I've bought this, she no longer walks through the house sneezing during days of high Sahara dust and smoke, and I no longer wake up with watery eyes. The unit is very efficient and works to keep my entire home clean. I have this unit in my living room and doors of adjacent rooms are kept open during the day and the purifier easily manages to keep the air quality in an excellent state throughout all of them. The unit is easy to clean. I wipe the outside with a soft cloth and vacuum the base on the inside to pick up any heavier/larger pieces of dust that accumulates under the filter. I purchased it at the beginning of July, and am now in line for my first filter replacement after about 6 months, and no dip in performance. The filters are a little on the expensive side, but I'm happy with the performance of the purifier and don't mind paying the price to ensure the same quality in my breathing air. I hope this was helpful to someone out there.

Absolutely LOVE Levoit air purifiers. My first air purifier I ever got from Levoit was in 2020. And it still runs great today. This easily persuaded me to get an even bigger one for my kitchen+living space. My home has 6 occupants with 3 dogs and there is a lot of dust, and dander from pets. After installing this, our family noticed better air quality. Air purifiers run best when it is running in its highest setting- while this purifier can get loud on its highest setting, that is to be expected and the results of breathing better air outweighs the minor inconvenience. I really enjoy the connectivity options as well. Getting to set schedules and controlling the purifier from my iPhone is a big plus. Our purifier runs for 18 hrs a day with varying speeds throughout the cycle. 10/10 would recommend this air purifier for any space.

My go to purifiers used to be the Dyson ozone. I liked that they did not have replaceable filters and you could just clean. I know there were health concerns about them, but I loved the fact that the air smelled so neutral, even when a dog or a cat would have an accident. Unfortunately, they don’t make these anymore so I had to look for something else. After a lot of research, I finally decided on this one. I have had this air purifier for several months now and have nothing but good things to say about it. At first, I wasn’t sure if it was working as it stayed on a very low level the majority of the time. I guess our air quality just was that good. However, I began to notice spikes when there was heavier, cooking in the kitchen or any sort of aerosol was sprayed. Additionally, if a humidifier is going, it will detect the water vapors. Which brings me to my next mention, if someone is smoking or vaping in the house, this will detect it. You will see a high spike when this happens and it may help you confirm behavior that you were suspecting might be going on. Yes, the filters can be expensive to replace, but I believe mine has only used 50% of its life so one every nine months to a year isn’t a big deal for the benefits. Finally, I find it pretty darn quiet and I can hear very quiet sounds. I also do not think it is an eyesore like some purifiers can be. The only negative is that it doesn’t neutralize the air as well as the Dyson’s did when there were urine smells. I may try a charcoal filter next to see if this helps. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Absolute game changer. We live in Oklahoma and around this time of year, the allergens and pollen are in full effect. Every year, we suffer and get sick constantly cause its so bad. On top of that, we have 2 indoor cats and an outdoor cat that periodically comes in, so we got to deal with pet dander x3. I was debating on getting an AirDoctor but was wanting something a little more affordable and was just as good. After hours of research, I decided on the Levoit Core 600S-P. Installation was rather easy and quick. I like that it is also a smart purifier as in it has its own app that you can manage wirelessly over a wifi or cellular connection (Purifier needs to be connected to your network). Once I turned it on, I noticed that it quickly scans the area for air quality. My air quality was so bad, I was honestly disappointed that I didnt invest in a air purifier sooner. The registered PM2.5 index was over 600!!! That's considered HAZARDOUS conditions. I cant believe we were suffering for this long. Well, after about a couple hours at the 2nd to highest setting, I noticed the Air quality was immensely better. Breathing was way easier and after just 24 hours, allergy symptoms were beginning to subside. My wife was suffering from the worst sinus congestion and pressure due to the allergies and that has now completely gone away after 2 days. What I also like about this Levoit is the air flow. Just at a lower settings I can literally feel air circulation at 20 ft away from my living room. The max fan setting pulls in air fast, which is nice if needing to filter your air quickly. The highest setting is loud, but that doesnt really bother me. Let that thing work haha. The lowest setting is super quiet, so its great for sleeping as well. Its been several days of me having this product and it truly is one of the best investments I have made. If you suffer from allergies and have multiple pets, the Levoit wont let you down. Our overall quality of life in our home has greatly improved now that we are breathing cleaner air. Definite recommend.

I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of this LEVOIT air purifier. It's well built, easy to use, and noticeably improves air quality very quickly. The VeSync iPhone app is also very impressive. It's extremely intuitive and makes it easy to monitor air quality, adjust settings, and control the unit remotely. The app adds a lot of value and makes using the purifier even more convenient. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase. Great performance, great design, and excellent app support. Highly recommended.

Very quiet, and I am always amazed by how much dust it collects out of the air. Great product.
