Google Nest WiFi - AC2200 (2nd Generation) Router and Add On Access Point Mesh Wi-Fi System (3-Pack, Snow) Review: Love this Google nest system! - This system is great if you want to use a Google home set up. The wifi connectivity is good. I have these placed in different sides in my office building. What is awesome about these is they have a built in speaker that does a fair job for sound playback. We use YouTube music and tidal to listen to music across the office building using multiple access points, a Google home speaker as well as a Nest hub. Works great so far! Review: Keeps my security cameras going - I was having issues with some of my outdoor security cameras losing signal and going dark. Kinda defeats the purpose of having them. Add in a split level floor plan, lots of walls, and a brick exterior, even the camera right outside the room with the wifi router was struggling. These were super easy to set up and now my streaming services are also screaming fast compared to before.

It worked with my Spectrum/Airos wifi
I tried 4 different extenders or routers to expand my wifi range and none of them worked. At first, google didn't either. I called google tech system -- they had me connect google wifi, disconnecting my old router, and ran through all kinds of configurations, including deleting the google home app. Nothing worked, but because I had deleted the ap, could not get internet. My call finally ended because my phone ran out of of power and crashed. I reinstalled my old router, reinstalled google app, and the ap installed perfectly. It ws then possible to get google wifi working. Maybe the tech having me reset both modem and router to factory defaults made a difference. I don't know. And I don't care. I'm just glad I got the router working.

Good router, but occasionally drops signal
Weโve had random issues with the two pods where sometimes theyโll randomly disconnect. A quick reboot and itโs fixed, just frustrating to lose internet randomly.

The Router From Hell: My Nest WiFi Nightmare and the eero 6e Pro Rescue
I recently upgraded to the Nest WiFi to replace my original Google WiFi from 2018. Wowโhow things (and quality) have changed. The old Google WiFi had started acting upโfrequent disconnections, sluggish speeds, and general unreliability. Naturally, I assumed the issue was with my internet provider. Over the course of two days, three different Spectrum technicians came out to investigate. They tested everythingโinside the house and out at the street-level boxโand confirmed nothing was wrong. Strong signal, no disruptions. Their verdict? "You might want to check with Google Support." And thatโs where the real trouble began. I spoke with Google tech support multiple times. After jumping through all the usual hoops, I concluded the unit was either defectiveโor simply a poorly made product. Just to be sure, I tested my MacBook Air at a neighborโs house and was consistently getting upload/download speeds over 975 Mbps. That same neighbor recommended I try the eero 6e Pro. I picked one up this morningโand what a difference. Setup took all of 20 minutes. Seriously, it felt like a throwback to the plug-and-play days. Download the eero app, follow a few dead-simple steps, and just like that, I was back onlineโflawlessly. Check out the attached screenshots of my speed tests. The top result shows the speeds with the eero 6e Pro. Below that? The final test I ran using the Nest WiFi. The difference speaks for itself. One last note about Googleโs customer โservice.โ The agent I dealt with was kind but clearly out of his depth. We spent over two hours on a call, during which I asked four times to speak with a supervisor. Each time, he refused, insisting we hadnโt completed all the troubleshooting steps. Eventually, after I told him Iโd be leaving a very honest review, he put me on holdโthen came back to say there were no supervisors available, but one would call me back in three hours. That call? Still waiting. Bottom line: whether it was a defective unit or just a bad product line, the Nest WiFi was a major letdown. The eero 6e Pro, on the other hand, is everything I hoped forโand then some.

Great signal strength. Easy installation.
I Replaced a conventional router with Google mesh router and 3 points. The Google Home instructions are easy to follow. It helps to completely disconnect the modem from power, network, and coaxial cable for a minute or two before installing the new router & points.

Definitely buy! Complete worth the money 100%
So glad I changed to the Google nest wifi. Spectrum was ripping me off big time. This is 100% worth it! I haven't had any issues with connections and it reaches all the way to my garage, which is waaaaaay in the other side of the house. Totally an amazing product. Definitely buy!

Really great replacement for old router
I bought these in tandem with a new modem. It's been a great combo so far. Really reliable and way better than the equipment provided by Spectrum. I love having 5 bar wifi throughout the entire house and Google readily available to answer "can my dogs eat this..." 40x a day.

Not stable. Internet connection gets cut off frequently.
Not stable. I need to power it off everyday at some point and restart the router, when internet is not working. I thought the issue was the service provider (Rogers), but it turned out it's the google router.

USA spec
These are US spec so come with a 2 pin plug. Also if you buy in UAE thet aren't supported by Google. As I found out when the router died on me
