I have this DAO on auto-ship, it’s the most effective product and brand that I have found to counter to histamine reactions from food which I developed as a result of living in mold for 4 years. I’ve used it for 3 years and could not eat without it. I highly recommend it!

Update: I am updating this review to 4 stars, because my confidence in the quality control is now shaken. I depend on this stuff and if a bad bottle comes that means I am without and have my symptoms for several days until I can get a replacement. But I might consider ordering this brand again because I did finally receive a refund for the bottle I describe below, and the capsules have always worked great, and come at a very competitive price.original review: I have purchased this supplement 5 times. I found it worked just as well as much more expensive brands (eg. xymogen). However, in the last bottle I received, the capsules have a very strong odor like the smell of a candle when you burn it out. There must have been some kind of problem in the manufacturing process to produce this powerful of an odor. I can't imagine that burnt wax smell could be created by anything that I want to put inside my body. I can only conclude that there is no good quality control. Furthermore, I have tried contacting the seller to no response, and there appears to be no way to contact the manufacturer apart from the "distributor" (Omne Diem) address on the bottle.So unfortunately, I will never order this again as I really can't risk opening another unreturnable bottle of defective, likely toxic capsules. This is to say nothing of having to live without this enzyme I apparently lack and benefit so much from all the while I have to sort this out. What a drag!

This enzyme has been a life changer for me. I can eat out at a restaurant without digestive and sinus issues, and also high histamine foods at home. I used to wake up the day after eating out with horrible sinus issues and just generally not feeling well. I don’t suffer like that anymore.

I have Rosacea & certain foods cause me to have flushing in my face. If I take these 15 minutes before a meal, it either significantly reduces the flushing or eliminates it all together! This is a complete life saver. I will never go without these!
