Curious George Good Night Book (CGTV Tabbed Board Book) The Curious George Good Night book is a hard cover book that's perfect for really young ages. This book measures 8 X 9". It has gold shiny stars on the front cover with yellow fireflies that have a glow effect. This book has seven tabs, so your child can turn the page easily. Each tab has a picture that gives a clue to what the next page will be about. This book is written by Karen Pandell. The Good Night book talks about Georges busy day and what the little monkey needs to do to get ready for bedtime. As he is still not sleepy, he still has plenty of activities to do that will tire him out before bedtime, like picking up toys, brushing his teeth, taking a bath, bedtime story, peekaboo and having a lullaby sung to him. Finally George falls asleep into sweet dreams and gets his good night sleep. Approximately up to 40 words on some pages. Very cute book!

Sometimes turning pages in board books can be difficult. The tabs along the side of this book make that easier. It has 6 tabbed pages with lots of story as it goes through George's bedtime routine. The pages are a little thinner than other board books we have, but not so thin that they will bend easily. It's another cute Curious George book.

Perfect book for toddlers. The story is more of a poem than a book, so it reads easy with a nice rhythm. You can read it start to finish in less than 5 minutes and it basically goes through a typically bed time routine. The pages are thick and durable, perfect for my toddler to grasp and turn the pages. He loves participating in reading the story and I don't have to worry about him ripping the pages by accident. I even leave the book within reach making it the perfect book for him to "read" after we've left the room. My son also loves the illustrations. They're colorful and bright, perfect to hold the attention of a toddler or even a younger babies attention. The story even references the first episode of curious George for a nice connection to the show. I love this book and I'm thrilled that it should last through both of my young children's early bedtime routines.

My niece's daughter loves Curious George. She can't get enough of the little monster (and I say that with love) and this is one of the many "George" gifts that I am always buying for her. Every time I see something with "George" on it, I have to get it for her. One minute the little girl is a ballerina ad the the next minute she is rough and ready to rumble in her "George" clothing. Too funny. This book is very well done and this is something that is so loved by the child, it is hard for her to share it with other kids. It arrived at my home in perfect condition and perfectly packaged.

Got this for my 2 year old daughter since she loves George and while she really likes it, I was somewhat disappointed. What I did like was the sturdy board book format and the easy to turn tabs that have a little picture of what George will do on that page. The illustrations are colorful and fun to look at. My favorite thing about it is that it sequences how George gets ready for bed, which is parallel to the activities my daughter does before bed, making it relateable to her (clean up toys, take a bath, read a bedtime story, listen to a lullaby, and go to sleep). I did like the rhyming text, but it has a choppy flow to it so the rhymes aren't smooth sounding. I also didn't like the lullaby that is supposed to be sung but is also very lengthy and the words don't flow nicely either so you really can't sing it. Lastly, I thought the peek-a-boo game between reading the bedtime story and the lullaby was oddly out of place in the bedtime sequence - I don't think too many people do that before bed and it seems like more of a daytime activity. But overall, this is a cute book and my daughter loves reading it before bed and it's great for Curious George fans.

Excellent item and customer service.

My son loves watching Curious George and he also likes when I read to him. (He's 10 months old). He was so happy when I showed him this book. It's a good bedtime book and I'm sure he'll love it even more once he understands what it says, but for now, he loves looking at the pictures of George. The book is well made and sturdy for little ones. And it was much bigger than I expected. Great buy! :)

I love reading this book with my 2 year old before bed! He loves George but hates bedtime. It goes through all of the different things George does to get ready for bed, and includes some of his animal friends from the show. At the end of each page it asks "Are you sleepy yet?" to which my son loves responding "Nope!" Thankfully, the last page shows George sleeping, which gets him to be quiet so he doesn't wake George up. I'm glad I bought it!

Libro in cartonato, resistente e simpatico. L'ho acquistato per "ricreare" una messa a letto in lingua inglese per un bimbo di 2 anni e mezzo.... ottima soluzione, ci sono 6-7 mini storie con delle immagini carine. amatissimo dal bimbo e da me! lo consiglio!
