Q: are these bite proof? The take n toss ones get chewed up would these work for a kid who bites on his sippy cup covers?

Our little ones aren't biters (yet...knock on wood), so much to the amusement of my nine year old, I decided to test them myself. I am a 6'6" 330 pound man with pretty good chompers, and I could not bite through the silicone. These are reusable and not intended to be disposable, and they're dishwasher safe (our have been through several times), so it's pretty durable silicone.

Q: How easy does the spout work? My son hates the transition from a bottle and will bot use suppy cups that you have to suck or bite.

It seems pretty easy. When their lips go around it, it sort of opens the spout. Don't have to really bite. My daughter didn't like the bite ones either but seems to like these fine.

Q: We bought these with the fun drinking cups. We're having a tough time getting them on cup without spilling. Is there an easy way to do this?

Not sure if there is a specific way to put them on but i just stretch it first then try to put it on from the area closets to me and then pull to the other side. After its on, on all sides i stretch it down with my whole hand instead of trying to pull it down side by side. Hope that makes sense.

Q: Would these fit an 8 ounce mason jar?

yes they do (both the wide and narrow ones but narrow ones put less stress on the tops
