Q: Trying to decide between this and duplo math train (push train w/ learning). Does this train push also? The other has learning involved but not sure

This train has a button that makes the train go because it is battery operated. It has train sounds and it's compatible with other duplo train sets. There is no 'learning' per se, but my 6 year old son has been planning out his own track designs and train situations (car on a track or manipulating the tracks for another train coming) for over a year now. The train is strong enough to haul his toy cars and other items he puts on the train cars and he absolutely loves these train sets!! Sorry, I know nothing about the math train!

I believe so - I also purchased several other duplo train cars and have never heard different from the grandchildren. Duplo is very versatile.

So sorry for delay in answering, but yes it is same engine and track. Duplo deluxe train set 134 pcs -10508 can be added to with "my first train" OR as pictured on deluxe box, #10506 add on track which has 24 additional pcs.
