Q: Does it stay inflated without water on?

Yes it does. You inflate the unicorn (highly recommend having some type of electric air compressor as this thing is big and would take forever to blow up manually!) and then there is basically a tube that runs through it from the horn down to where you attach the hose. The tube is for water only.

Q: is it as big as it is stated?

YES! It's a very large size and the water shoots out depending on your water stream. Meaning it can go a far distance. Be aware you will need a good amount of distance and space to use this product effectively.

Q: How do you inflate it?

An air compressor-the spot to put in the nozzle is towards the back of the unicorn

Q: Does it come with the leash?
