This is the second one I bought for my daughter's new cat. The other cat spends a good amount of time in it she wanted one for her new cat. Stays on window in all weather. Sturdy design holds the first cat at 14lbs.

They were fighting over just the one, so my bf bought a second one. I honestly don't know how well the suction cups hold up. 2 of our cats are BIG boys, and I didn't even want to risk relying on just the suction cups, so I braced the rods against the back of my couch. They might hold up fine, I don't know. This was just easier.

This is sturdy, yet unobtrusive. The padding is soft, but not shaggy do it won't wear out easily. My chonky boy loves it and he gets up and down with ease. Packaging is minimal, and the product can be taken apart/put together without a lot of fuss. Super seat for a super price!

UPDATE: Seller FWLife responded almost immediately. Said the bracket problem was fixed in an overall redesign, and I must have received an older version. Instructed me to contact Amazon Customer Service for an exchange, gave their assurance that the defective bracket is a now rare problem, and that the replacement should be fine.There was no comment on why the older versions were not recalled.—————————I previously bought a medium sized one (without a pad) and it's perfect. This one was also easy to put together and the same suction cups mean great adherence to the glass. Flaw is in the metal brackets that the suction cups attach to. The tops of the brackets are not wide enough, and pronged ends that go into the frame holes are not long enough to stay in the holes securely. When your cat jumps onto the platform, it can shift off the bracket's prongs and fall.As a temporary "fix" I added thick duct tape onto the prong ends so that they're snug in the holes - for now. It's not a permanent solution and I'll request replacement brackets from the supplier.

Sturdy, holds my cats weight easily

My cats were hesitant at first, but slowly came around to loving it. I will say, I was surprised to see it hold up my two 12 pound cats and not fall of the window. Very sturdy.
