I was amazed at how much stronger and aesthetically more pleasing this chair base was compared to the OEM base. The chair now rolls smoother and easier than before. This is a terric product.

This is a sturdy base. It comes with a center piece that you put the legs on (NICE). The legs just snugly slide into the center piece (and that connection is very sturdy too) and then there is a thick screw that you screw in. The screws are such that when you sit in your chair you reinforce the screw connection and not pull on it which would eventually undermine it (NICE). The ends of the legs that hold the wheels are sturdy and well reinforced all the way around. The original base on my chair was not so sturdily made and the plastic holding the wheels split, which made the wheel fall out when trying to roll it randomly. The wheel holding fixture on this is well reinforced and I don't see it easily breaking. The base overall is on the heavy side and sturdy made. The hardest part of installing this was getting the old one off, once that was accomplished this was a breeze. I feel like it, so far, is worth what I paid for it. I'm very pleased with it.

I had bought new chairs for my husband and I. We had them for a decent amount of time when my base broke where my wheels are. I came across this replacement and it fit my chair. I ordered it and gave it a chance... I'm very satisfied. This base and wheels are a lot more sturdy than my original and the wheels are so much more smooth. Definitely worth the money. I'm happy.

Very solid & was super easy to assemble with included Allen wrench. The Frassie 28 inch Nylon Base is so much thicker and stronger in comparison to the original base that come with my chair. I really like how it is designed with detachable legs in case of future repairs. With the Nylon legs removed, the cylinder can be in direct contact with the floor. (Suggest concrete floor & at least 3 layers of cardboard between bottom of piston and floor for protection.) From there use a rubber mallet to get star base off and replace the dead piston. I also re-installed my rollerblade style wheels. They are "Lifelong" Office Chair Wheels Replacement Rubber Chair casters which has 43,758 reviews when writing this. In my opinion this base and "Lifelong" wheels are worth the cost. Attached a picture of them put together, I hope folks find this helpful.

Bought the Frassie 28 Inch Heavy Duty Nylon Gaming Office Chair Base because it claimed some absolutely heroic weight capacity numbers. I’m a big guy, sure, but I am VERY confident I do not weigh 1300 lbs unless this chair was factoring in emotional baggage and BBQ intake. It lasted about 3 months before one of the legs snapped clean off. Important detail: I was actively sitting in the chair when this happened. So instead of peacefully existing at my desk, I suddenly found myself participating in an unexpected gravity demonstration. My sore back and headache would strongly suggest the advertised weight rating is wildly optimistic at best. Then came the Amazon return process, which was its own comedy routine. “Hey Amazon, this thing collapsed while I was sitting in it and I hit my head.” Amazon basically responded with: “No problem! Just find a gigantic box, tape this busted chair base up, drive it into town, and then maybe eventually you can have your refund.” At that point it honestly wasn’t worth the hassle. Do not buy this unless you enjoy gambling with both furniture integrity and your spine. This thing is a trap.

This worked great for my S-Racer gaming chair. I think it's better made than the original base. I used my white wheels instead of the black and they fit too. If it breaks after this review I will update.

The base was good quality and heavy duty. It was easy to replace. Had a bit of an issue with the wheels though, two would get stuck when moving around, ended up replacing.

I have a AKRacing Masters Series Max Gaming Chair. The other day, one of the casters broke. I was able to pull out the metal piece. I order this entire base just in case I needed. The item came today. The wheel size is a tiny bit smaller than my original but metal peg was identical. So I popped in one wheel into my existing base and it fit perfectly. The size didn't make the chair wobble or move, so I'll keep the extras as spare parts. Well worth the purchase. Especially no that AKRacing is out of business.
