Good reference of AWS Services overall
3.5 stars for the Developer Exam, 4.5 stars of the SA Exam...(or maybe it should receive 8 stars?)

Structured collation of what you need to review for the cert but replete with minor issues. 3.5/5
This is an entry-level book; for someone who uses AWS everyday it helped elucidate some edge cases and services and helped solidify the features of the stuff I use day-to-day (IAM, EC2). The AWS docs are notoriously verbose and hard to navigate so I looked to this book for a more structured curriculum for the cert prep.It serves its purpose but has a few problems: poorly thought out diagrams (color-coded ones don't translate to black/white :P), repetitive content (IAM Roles overview parts 1 through 48,284 – hyperbole, but whatever), intermittently poor copy-editing (grammar, spelling, etc), lack of Glossary (???), the Index is utter bullocks, and it seems like there's probably about 70-100 pages of filler content (screenshots/content repetition/etc) so they could jack-up the price. It's a nice volume to lug around though: not *too heavy and the quality of the paper and binding is good enough to last a long while. Buying digitally or used would be best.Concerning the exams it's OK, but you should always be using the example quizzes that AWS provides as they're probably more up to date and reflect the wording and types of questions you'll encounter on the exam itself more accurately. It did miss some things however, though I assume that's due to AWS changing their tech, best practices, and documentation every 23 seconds.
