This is a solid replacement and it works. - 3.5mm TRRS Cable, 1/8" inch 4 Pole Auxiliary Cord, Aux Mini-Jack Stereo Nylon Braided Male to Male Cable 3.3 FT/ 1M (2 Pack) As previously mentioned simply replaces the Steel Series cables. Both cables tested without any issues. I personally like to have longer cables when I travel. You can always make longer cables shorter. Just not the other way around. - Optional: AINOPE USB Extension Cable,USB Extender,USB 3.0 Extension Cable, Male to Female Cord High Data Transfer Compatible with Webcam,Keyboard,Flash Drive,Hard Drive,Printer,1.5FT,Grey. Depending on your laptop or PC the usb port maybe crowded this is a viable option if you to not have a USB hub.

I have a Hyper X cloud II and it started turning my volume all the way down at random. In the middle of a game or call. The company was asking for like $70 to replace it. Luckily I found this cheaper alternative and my headset sounds as clear as the day I bought it now. I wonder how many people threw out their headsets and that’s all they needed.

It workworked fine the first few days of use, but I started to hear a little bit of audio glitching after 5 days. 6th day, the volume kept increasing my volume to maximum no matter what I did (Button broke) Not reliable, I didn't damage it at all, it just started doing this randomly. Do not recommend

It works, but it's DEAFENINGLY loud. Like I put it to 1% volume and it's still clear. So forget about adjusting the volume easily. I have to turn down each individual app in the volume mixer to deal with the volume.

The driver itself works well. I do have issues where the mic picks up dialog from games or videos. I was able to minimize this by using other applications like Nvidia and SteelSeries audio apps but the problem still persist even with the sound volume down. I have been told using this one vs an older driver I have that when I so speak the voice quality is better then before.

OSX could not properly power the mic input for the Hyper X Cloud Stinger. This has completely fixed that issue! The headphone audio sounds great. The mic audio has some slight room noise on the highest volume setting, but otherwise it's great. The mute and volume controls on the device itself are very handy. Highly recommend this for anyone having issues with headsets on OSX.

This has turned out to be a great replacement for my HyperX USB cable. My friends said my voice sounded better with this cable even. I would definitely purchase this again barring something crazy going wrong down the road.
