Good but expensive

I have fine hair. This gives me the bit of lift I like.

I have thick, heavy, layered hair and because it is thick it tends to get weighted down and go flat. I need something to boost and lift the layers for added volume. Mousse tends to be too sticky sometimes and makes my hair pouf too much after blow drying. I need lift at the roots so I've tried root lift spays. This product is actually like a spray foam mousse root spray. Don't make the mistake I did unless you intentionally want the smaller size for travel as it is only a 2 oz size. If you have a full head of long hair it will go pretty quickly if used several times a week. Plus it was rather pricey just for that small size too. The foam is kind of sticky and can leave hair feeling stiff, although after applying the root spray to damp hair and then blow drying my hair out using a round brush it softened up some. It did add some lift but I still had to use a curling iron on my short layers to get some lasting curl volume as I have thick straight hair. I would suggest using a clarifying shampoo every once in a while too if you use this stuff on a regular basis to get rid of build-up. It is rather pricey (for my needs all the time) but if that isn't a concern or problem then it's up to you. Hope maybe this provides some helpful info.

You have to use day of. Kinda like hairspray would. Hard to use it then curl hair or something. You go to sleep or whatever when you wake up your hair is stiff and sticky. Also a lot of product on the root so dry shampoo has to double up. More trouble than it’s worth.
